To level Mining 1-375 in TBC Classic, mine Copper (1-65), Tin and Silver (65-125), Iron and Gold (125-175), Mithril and Truesilver (175-250), and Thorium (250-300), then cross into Outland at 300 for Fel Iron (300-350) in Hellfire Peninsula and Adamantite (350-375) in Nagrand. Loop the same zone repeatedly and mine every node you pass to keep skill-ups steady.

Fast leveling steps
- Grab Mining from a trainer and clear Copper until 65.
- Move to mid-level zones for Tin and Silver up to 125.
- Farm Iron and Gold to 175, then Mithril and Truesilver to 250.
- Run Thorium loops in Un'Goro or Winterspring to 300.
- Enter Outland at level 58+, mine Fel Iron to 350, then Adamantite to 375.
What's the fastest zone to farm Fel Iron?
Hellfire Peninsula is the go-to. Fel Iron veins are dense along the ridges and Path of Glory, and it's the first Outland zone you reach, so you can start the moment you hit 300. Zangarmarsh works as a quieter backup if Hellfire is crowded.
Do I need a gathering pattern or macro?
No macro needed. The real trick is riding a consistent loop around a zone's edges where nodes cluster, mining everything, and using Track Minerals (always on) so veins show on your minimap. A flying mount at 350+ makes Outland farming much faster.
Should I level Mining with Skinning or Herbalism?
Mining pairs well with Herbalism if you only want gold from raw materials, but you can only track one resource at a time. For crafting, Mining plus Blacksmithing or Engineering is the classic combo and keeps your gathered ore useful instead of just vendored.
