How do dungeons work in Retail WoW?
Retail dungeons don't gate you by a strict level list. As you level 1-80, the Dungeon Finder shows the dungeons appropriate for your level and scales enemies and rewards to match. You queue, get grouped, and go. Older expansion dungeons remain relevant through level scaling and Timewalking events.
