At least 80% of the group must be in the same guild for a raid kill to count toward a guild achievement — that's 8 of 10, 20 of 25, and 16 of 20 on Mythic. Flexible Normal and Heroic raids apply the same 80% ratio to however many players you zone in with. Five-player dungeons need 4 of 5.

  • The check happens at the moment the boss dies — not when you formed the group. Swapping a guildie out for a pug right before the pull can cost you the credit.
  • Round up when the math is ugly: a 13-player flex raid needs 11 guild members (80% of 13 is 10.4), so aim for a comfortable margin rather than the bare minimum.
  • Trial members of the guild still count as guild members.
  • Meta-achievements are earned step by step. Every individual boss or feat inside a guild meta has to be done as a valid guild group, not just the final kill.
  • Guild achievement points sit in their own tab and are tracked separately from your personal achievement points.

Does everyone in the guild get the achievement?

The achievement belongs to the guild, so it shows up in the guild's achievement panel for every member, including people who log in months later. Individual credit — the "who was actually there" list — goes to the players who were in the group at the time. If you want your name attached, you have to be standing in the raid.

Do Raid Finder or premade pugs count?

Only if the 80% ratio is met, which basically never happens in Raid Finder or in a group assembled from the Group Finder listings. Cross-realm players from your own guild do count, so connected-realm guildmates are fine. Random cross-realm strangers are what break the ratio.

Are guild raid achievements still being added?

The big waves of guild raid meta-achievements came with older expansions, and guild leveling was retired years ago. What's left is mostly legacy content — old raid metas that small groups still farm for the titles, mounts and the guild achievement points. The 80% guild group rule is what still gates them.

What's the easiest way to fill an 80% guild raid?

For legacy raids, overgeared characters trivialize the content, so numbers matter more than skill: park alts, recruit casually, and run when you can field 8, 16 or 20 guild bodies depending on the format. For current-tier guild achievements, the bottleneck is roster consistency — a stable Tuesday night group of 16–20 guildies beats a rotating cast of 30.

If your guild keeps missing the ratio by two or three players, PewPewShop's vetted human players can help with the parts that stall a roster — coaching and play-together progression help for your current tier (Normal Raid — Full Clear from EUR 25, Heroic Raid — Full Clear from EUR 55) or Legacy Raid Mount Farm from EUR 26 for the old tiers you're grinding.
