On the WoW: Forever beta, three hidden companion pets are confirmed: the Musical Gustjumper, the Excitable Slime and the Baby Crocolisk. To get the Gustjumper, go to the top of the waterfall south of Thendal Village on Zephras Isle and /sing at the frogs. For the Excitable Slime, /dance at it in Undercity's canal, then hand it sludge from Boyle. The Baby Crocolisk drops from the Sewer Beast in Stormwind's canals.

Step by step
- Musical Gustjumper: Head south from Thendal Village and climb to the top of the waterfall. Type /sing near the frogs. When a new frog appears, click it.
- Excitable Slime: Buy a Nutritious Slime Sludge from Boyle in Undercity. Find the Excitable Slime in the canal and /dance at it until it offers WRIGGLE. Then turn in the sludge.
- Baby Crocolisk: Put together a raid-sized group and kill the Sewer Beast in the Stormwind Canals. Loot it and hope for the drop.
Can non-Skyborne characters get the Musical Gustjumper?
Zephras Isle is where the Skyborne start, so a new Skyborne character reaches the frogs without any detour. For other characters, there is a flying boat from Dalaran City to Valanaar, the Skyborne hub on the island. Dalaran is a Sanctuary where the Horde is not welcome, though, so Horde players have a harder time using that route. Blizzard has not said anything official about who can collect this pet.

On the beta the Sewer Beast is a level-50 elite. That is well above the current beta cap, so only raid groups have been killing it. Blizzard has not published a drop rate, and nobody should quote one yet. Once the level 60 cap is live after launch, it should be much easier to reach.
Do pets carry over between characters and rulesets?
According to Blizzard's Deep Dive panel, collections are account-wide across rulesets, with Hardcore as the exception. Progress made in Hardcore flows out to other rulesets, but nothing flows in. Blizzard has not said whether beta collections carry over to launch, so plan on collecting these pets again after November 4.
Are there other Forever pets?
Yes. The Spectral Bear Cub is a Legacy reward you unlock at 25 Legacy points, claimed from Innkeeper Wiley in Ratchet. The Skyborne Epic Pack also includes pets, but Blizzard has not listed them by name. The Black Market Auction House at Powderfuse Port sells some pets too. Beta files show a Spawn of Grubthor pet, possibly dropped by the Silithus rare Grubthor, but it is only datamined and could change.
