Warlock talent quick facts
- Talent rules for every class: talents open at level 10 and use the same rows as before. One-point milestone talents sit at 11, 21 and 31 points, plus a new 16-point milestone. You respec at a class trainer in a major city, and that includes Legacy talents. Dual specialization unlocks at level 40.
- Banes: Curse of Agony and Curse of Doom are now Banes, and you can keep only one Bane per Warlock on a target. Curse of the Elements now covers all magic damage. Curse of Shadows has been removed.
- Stones: Firestone and Spellstone are now weapon imbues that stack with temporary enchantments such as Wizard Oil. Firestone gives Fire damage and crit. Spellstone gives Shadow damage and spell haste.
- Other baseline changes: Life Tap scales with Spirit. Each tick of Drain Soul has a rising chance to give a Soul Shard. Pets scale with the Warlock's stats.
- October 1 beta patch notes: Hellfire can now crit, and Soul Harvesting was renamed Soul Harvest.

Forever Secondary Skills: Cooking, First Aid & FishingAll three secondary skills to 300 on your character.from 248 EURGet it doneWhat does Demonic Pact do in WoW: Forever?
Demonic Pact is the 31-point capstone of Demonology. If you summon a different pet, it no longer cancels Demonic Sacrifice, so the sacrifice buff now works together with Master Demonologist. The sacrifice buff itself is the 11-point milestone and lasts 2 hours. The Imp gives Shadow damage, the Voidwalker gives mana, the Succubus or Incubus gives Fire damage, and the Felhunter gives health.
The tree also gets new talents: Demonic Aegis, Fel Vitality, Demonic Energies, Decimation, Demonic Brand, Improved Felhunter and Demonic Knowledge. Improved Healthstone, Fel Intellect, Fel Stamina, Improved Subjugate Demon, Improved Firestone and Improved Spellstone are gone.
How do Bane of Havoc and Incinerate work?
Bane of Havoc is the 21-point Destruction milestone. For 5 minutes, 15% of the damage you deal to other targets is also dealt to the target with the bane. That makes it a cleave tool for fights with more than one target. Incinerate is the 31-point milestone and requires Bane of Havoc. It is a 2.5-second Fire spell that does 25% more damage to a target with Immolate on it.
Conflagrate moves to the 16-point milestone. Destructive Reach is now in row 1 and covers all damaging spells, and Ruin moves to row 3 as a 5-point talent. New talents include Molten Skin (up to 10% less damage taken), Fire and Brimstone, and Shadow and Flame. Improved Firebolt, Improved Lash of Pain, Devastation, Improved Immolate and Emberstorm were removed.
What about Affliction talents?
The published deep dive has an error: its Affliction section repeats the Elemental Shaman notes. That means no reliable list of Affliction talent changes is public yet. Blizzard describes Affliction as damage over time and draining, with full critical-strike viability and self-healing through drains. Treat anything more specific as unconfirmed until Blizzard corrects the post.
Can any new races play Warlock?
Yes. Troll Warlock is one of the six new race and class combinations confirmed for Forever. Warlocks are also one of the classes that can test the Cooldown Manager on the beta.
If you would rather spend launch week learning your rotation than grinding, PewPewShop's vetted human players offer Forever leveling help, with a full 1–60 from EUR 990 and shorter brackets like 1–30 from EUR 35. You still play your Warlock your way.
