A mythic mount carry is a raid run where a coordinated group clears the final Mythic boss so the mount can drop for you. The key split: current-tier Cutting Edge mounts only drop while that tier is the active one, then they are gone for good. Older mythic and legacy mounts remain farmable indefinitely, which is why they cost a fraction of a current-tier run.
Quick facts before you buy
- Where the mount comes from: the final boss of the raid on Mythic difficulty — not from trash, not from earlier bosses, not from any other difficulty.
- Time-limited vs. permanent: the final-boss Mythic mount tied to a live tier is removed when the next tier opens. Legacy mounts (older raids, older expansions) have no deadline.
- Drop behaviour: live-tier CE mounts are guaranteed drops during their window. Legacy raid mounts are rare drops, so those runs are usually sold as repeat weekly farming, not one clear.
- Why prices swing so hard: a legacy farm is one geared player soloing an old raid. A current-tier Mythic clear needs a full progression roster hitting a boss most guilds never kill.
- Realistic price anchors from our catalog: Famous Mount Farm from EUR 43, Collector Mount Meta from EUR 60, Mage Tower Mount & Skins from EUR 59, Karazhan Raid Clear from EUR 428.99, Netherdrake Mounts Bundle from EUR 679.15.
- Lockout to check: your character's raid lockout for that difficulty must be clear for the week, or the boss is not lootable for you.
Legacy farm or current-tier CE run?
| Legacy mythic mounts | No deadline. Low rate per run, so it's a weekly repeat. Cheapest route — Famous Mount Farm starts at EUR 43. |
| Current-tier CE mount | Hard deadline at tier end. Guaranteed while the window is open. Highest price because it needs a full Mythic roster. |
| Meta-achievement mounts | Multi-step collections rather than one boss kill. Collector Mount Meta starts at EUR 60. |
How long does a mythic mount carry take?
A legacy raid farm is minutes per lockout, but the mount is a rare drop — plan on repeat weeks rather than a single session. A current-tier Mythic clear is one scheduled run, but scheduling is the slow part: those rosters run on fixed nights, so the booking date matters more than the clear itself.
Do I get the mount guaranteed?
Depends entirely on which mount. Live-tier final-boss mounts drop every time the boss dies during that tier's window, so that's a yes. Anything older is a rare drop, and any seller promising a guaranteed drop on legacy content in one run is telling you what you want to hear. Honest offers on old raids are sold per run or per farming period.
Is a mythic mount carry worth the money?
If the mount is time-limited and you're not in a Mythic-progression guild, that's the one case where paying makes real sense — the window closes and does not reopen. For legacy mounts, weigh it against your own time: you can solo most of them yourself, and a farm service is buying back the hours, not access you couldn't get.
Will my achievement or title come with it?
The mount and the boss kill are separate rewards from the title track. Cutting Edge as a feat of strength is tied to killing that boss while the tier is current, so what you end up with depends on the timing of the run, not on the purchase itself. Ask before booking if the achievement matters to you as much as the mount.
