Update, October 3, 2026: this page describes the Epic Edition of The War Within. Midnight, live since March 2, 2026, is the current expansion and has its own editions in the Battle.net Shop. Leveling in Midnight: the level 90 cap.
Buy the WoW Epic Edition directly from the official Battle.net Shop for $89.99 — it's the top-tier version of The War Within, the expansion before Midnight. It bundles everything in the Base and Heroic editions plus 30 days of game time, a Level 70 character boost, 3-day early access, and exclusive cosmetics including the Sikaia Windborne mount. Buying from Blizzard is the safest, instant route.

You get the full expansion, a Level 70 character boost, and three days of early access before the standard launch. On top of that, the Epic tier layers in 30 days of game time and a set of collector cosmetics — the flying Sikaia Windborne mount, an exclusive tabard, a battle pet, and a hearthstone toy — plus matching bonuses for WoW Classic.
Where can I buy the WoW Epic Edition?
The Battle.net Shop is the primary and most reliable place — the purchase applies to your account instantly, no shipping or key activation needed. Some authorized retailers sell digital codes too, but always confirm the seller is Blizzard-authorized so the license attaches cleanly and the early-access window isn't missed.
Is the Epic Edition worth it over Heroic?
The $20 gap mostly buys 30 days of game time (normally around $15) plus the extra cosmetics. If you plan to play through the first month anyway, the Epic tier is close to break-even and nets you the mount and tabard for pocket change. If you already have a long subscription running, the Heroic Edition covers the gameplay essentials.
