The three real ways to get a mount online

  • Blizzard's in-game shop. Direct from the publisher, instantly added to your collection, zero risk. The catalogue is small and rotates.
  • Auction house mounts, bought with gold. A handful of mounts are tradeable items — crafted, drop-based, or vendor mounts. You buy them in-game with your own gold, and they still have to be looted or crafted by someone.
  • A carry or coaching service. A vetted player group helps you run the content that drops the mount, or coaches you to clear it yourself. This is what "wow mount carry online" actually means: you're paying for run time and expertise, not for a traded item.

Is buying a WoW mount online against the rules?

Buying from Blizzard's own shop is obviously fine. Buying gold or items from third-party sellers is what Blizzard's terms take issue with, and that's where account actions come from.

Coaching, play-together runs and progression help occupy a different space: you're paying a person for their time and skill, the same way people pay for chess coaching or a driving instructor. Choose providers with a long, clean record and a Self-Play option so you're the one in the driver's seat.

Which mounts can you never buy from anyone?

Anything tied to a removed event or a closed rating cutoff. Legacy Gladiator mounts from past seasons, Mythic AOTC-era mounts that were retired, promotional and collector's-edition mounts already claimed — no seller has them, and anyone advertising one is selling you a story.

Is a mount carry worth the money?

Do the math in hours. A famous drop-based mount can be a weekly lockout for two or three years of bad luck. Mage Tower skins need a specific class performance under a strict timer. If you value your play time at all, EUR 43 against 150 solo attempts is a straightforward trade.

If you actually enjoy the farm, don't buy it. The mount is the excuse to log in — paying to skip that removes the point.

How do you spot a scam mount seller?

Red flags: no company details, payment only through untraceable channels, a promised delivery time that's physically shorter than the lockout, and claims about mounts that are no longer in the game. Real providers publish prices, take normal card payments, and tell you honestly when something takes several weeks.
