To log on to WoW Classic, install and open the Battle.net desktop app, sign in with your Battle.net account, and pick World of Warcraft in the Games list. Step by step

  1. Download the Battle.net desktop app from Blizzard's site and install it.

Why don't I see the Classic option in Battle.net?

The Version dropdown only shows what's available to your region and account. If it's missing, update the Battle.net app itself, then confirm the Region dropdown matches where your account was created.

The other common cause is an expired subscription. Without active game time the client will let you reach the login screen but stop you at character select with a message about your subscription.

Do I need a subscription to log in to WoW Classic?
