World quests in Midnight unlock at the expansion's level cap, after you complete the main Midnight campaign through the new zones. Finish that final campaign chapter and world quest icons appear on the map by themselves — there is no unlock item to buy and no reputation threshold to farm first. Like every expansion since Legion, the unlock is account-wide: your alts skip the wait entirely.

The unlock, step by step

  1. Take the intro quest from your faction's board or the Adventure Guide and travel to the Midnight starting zone.
  2. Level to the expansion cap by playing the campaign — questing alone gets you there, no dungeon spam required.
  3. Keep following the yellow campaign chapters in your quest log. Side quests and side zones do not advance the unlock; only the numbered campaign chain does.
  4. Turn in the final campaign chapter. Watch for the chapter marker in the quest log campaign tab — that tracker is the single most reliable indicator of how far you actually are.
  5. Open the map. Icons populate within a moment or two; a quick /reload forces them if the map looks stale.

Why can't I see world quests even at max level?

Nine times out of ten, the campaign is not actually finished. Players hit the cap mid-story, stop reading the quest log, and assume levelling was the gate. Open the campaign tab and look for an unfinished chapter — it is usually sitting a step or two from the end.

The other common cause is a map filter. Click the funnel icon in the top corner of the world map and make sure world quest categories are checked. Zooming out to the continent view rather than a single zone also matters — some filters only render at continent zoom.

Are world quests account-wide in Midnight?

Yes. Once one character completes the campaign, every other character on the account sees world quests as soon as they reach the level requirement. You never repeat the unlock story on an alt.

Do world quests reset daily?

They rotate on a rolling timer rather than a single daily reset. Individual quests carry their own expiry — some last a day, some several — so the board refreshes continuously instead of wiping at once. Check twice a day and you will rarely miss a high-value one.

Which world quests are worth doing first?

Prioritise anything rewarding gear at or above your current item level, then reputation and currency quests tied to the season's crafting and upgrade tracks. Low-reward pet battle and profession quests are fine filler but rarely worth crossing a zone for.

The honest version

None of this is hard — it is just time. The campaign is a fixed length and there is no shortcut inside the game, so the only real variable is how many evenings you have to spend on it.

If those evenings are the problem, PewPewShop's vetted human players can coach you through the campaign or play alongside you to get the unlock done fast, and Midnight Season One raid help starts from EUR 17.54 if you want a geared push once world quests are open. No bots, no cheats — just people who have already run the route.
