Kyle's Gone Missing! is not confirmed for WoW: Forever yet, but Blizzard says it's working on it. Players on the forums asked for Ezra Chatterton's Make-A-Wish quest to be added. A Blizzard community manager answered "We're working on it. Stay tuned!" Blizzard hasn't announced a build, a date or any changes, so for now treat it as in progress, not as added.

What the quest is

Ahab Wheathoof has lost his dog Kyle, and he asks you to find him. You track Kyle down in the Mulgore countryside, give him a treat that Ahab supplies, and bring the good news back. It's a short, low-level Horde errand. It became one of the best-loved quests in the game because of who made it. Ezra Chatterton helped design it as his Make-A-Wish wish, and his voice is Ahab's. Ezra passed away in 2008, and the quest has been a quiet tribute in Mulgore ever since.

Why wasn't Kyle's Gone Missing! in Forever from the start?

WoW: Forever is set in the game's first year. The Classic team is rebuilding that era with new zones, dungeons and quests. Kyle's Gone Missing! was added during The Burning Crusade, so it isn't part of the original 2004 content the Classic-based versions start from. That's why players had to ask for it, and why Blizzard's reply matters.

Does "working on it" mean it will be there at launch?

No, not necessarily. Blizzard hasn't said whether it will arrive before launch on November 4, 2026, during the beta, or in a later patch. It also hasn't said whether the quest will match the original or be adapted to Forever's changes. Until Blizzard or the beta shows it in game, don't expect it on day one.

Can Alliance players do it?

The original quest belongs to Mulgore, a Horde starting zone. Blizzard hasn't described how a Forever version would work or who could take it. If it comes back in its original form, plan on a Horde character, probably a tauren alt, to see it the way it was built.

How do I check whether it's been added?

Watch the official WoW: Forever forum category and the beta patch notes. If you're in the beta (September 17 to October 21, capped at level 20 for now, rising to 30 later), you can also visit Mulgore near Thunder Bluff and look for Ahab Wheathoof. Beta content can change before launch, so seeing the quest there wouldn't guarantee it ships unchanged.

If you'd rather skip the grind and play a fresh Horde alt alongside a vetted human pro, PewPewShop's Forever beta leveling starts from EUR 13. You can play along with the booster or have them teach you the new zones as you go. Ahab's quest is one you'll probably want to do yourself.
