In WoW: Forever, Dalaran is a playable city in the Alterac Mountains, north-west of Southshore. You can walk in by the stairs north of Hillsbrad Fields or take the portal from Stormwind. On the beta, per Wowhead, the city has Druid and Mage trainers, seven profession trainers, a transmogrifier, battlemasters in The Underbelly and the entrance to the City of Dalaran dungeon (levels 20–35).

Things worth doing on your first visit
- Take the portal to the Violet Citadel. Alliance players get a quick link between Stormwind and Dalaran this way.
- Pick up A Donation of Wool. It's a cloth turn-in chain that follows you all the way to Runecloth, so save your stacks while you level.
- Train your profession or class. The seven profession trainers, plus Druid and Mage trainers, mean you don't have to hike back to a capital.
- Queue for PvP from The Underbelly. All four battlemasters are in one spot, and the PvP gear vendors are right next to them.
- Set up your transmog. Dalaran has a transmogrifier, and transmog is opt-in for each player in Forever.
How do you get to Dalaran in WoW: Forever?
There are three routes. You can walk up the stairs north of Hillsbrad Fields, use the Violet Citadel portal from Stormwind's Wizard's Sanctum, or, as a Skyborne, fly over on the "boat" from Valanaar on Zephras Isle. No flight path lands in the city, so a gryphon won't get you there.
Can Horde players use Dalaran?
On the beta, Wowhead describes Dalaran as a Sanctuary where the Horde is not welcome. Alliance characters can walk around freely. Horde players still get into the dungeon, but from outside the city walls (see below).
How do you enter the City of Dalaran dungeon?
Alliance players go in through the Dalaran Sewers, starting at the Cantrips & Crows. Horde players enter from outside the city using the Dalaran Sewer Key. Blizzard lists the dungeon at levels 20–35. The beta is still capped at 20, so it's mostly launch content. Boss lists and loot haven't been published.
Is there a Jewelcrafting trainer in Dalaran?
Not confirmed. There's an NPC titled Apprentice Jeweler, and Wowhead reads that as a hint that Jewelcrafting might come. Blizzard hasn't announced it.
