World of Warcraft weekly quests reset with the regional weekly reset: Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. local server time in North America, Wednesday at 4:00 a.m. in Europe, and Thursday morning on Korean and Taiwanese realms. That one reset clears raid lockouts, the Great Vault, PvP caps and every weekly quest at the same moment, so plan your chores around it.

There is no per-quest timer. Everything weekly in the game flips on one regional clock, and your realm's region — not your own time zone — decides when.

  • Oceanic players sit on North American servers, so the reset lands early Wednesday morning your local time — not Tuesday.
  • Your character's realm decides it. Playing from Berlin on a US realm means you follow the Tuesday reset.
  • Everything weekly flips together: raid lockouts, Great Vault progress and rewards, the PvP Conquest cap, world boss loot, weekly event bonuses, and weekly quest hubs.
  • Daily content is on a separate, faster clock that ticks every day at the same hour as the weekly reset.

What actually resets weekly in WoW?

Raid lockouts on every difficulty, your Great Vault (both the progress you were building and any reward you left unclaimed), the Conquest cap, world boss kills, the rotating weekly event, and the weekly quests attached to the current zone content.

What does not reset: your Mythic+ rating, reputation earned, gear, and currencies you already hold. Weekly resets clear eligibility, not your account's progress.

Is the daily reset the same time as the weekly reset?

Same hour, different frequency. Daily quests, callings and daily lockouts roll over every day at 8:00 a.m. local server time in NA and 4:00 a.m. in EU. The weekly reset is simply the day of the week when that same hourly rollover also wipes the seven-day content.

Does daylight saving move the reset?

The reset is pinned to a fixed local server hour, so it stays at 8:00 a.m. Pacific or 4:00 a.m. Central European year-round. What shifts is the UTC equivalent — by exactly one hour when clocks change. If you convert reset time into your own zone manually, re-check it twice a year.

What happens to a weekly quest I never turned in?

Most weekly quests drop out of your log at reset and are offered again fresh, with progress back at zero. Anything that was going to convert into a Great Vault slot has to be earned again. The safe habit is to hand in weekly turn-ins the same session you finish them.

How long before reset should I do my chores?

Give yourself a couple of hours. Servers get busy right before reset, and groups formed close to the cutoff often fail to finish. Raid nights scheduled for the evening before reset day are the classic squeeze.

If your week keeps ending with an empty Vault, PewPewShop can take the grind off your hands — vetted human players (no bots, no cheats) handle weekly Vault runs from EUR 55, or coach you through the same content so you clear it faster yourself next week.
