The War Within's renown mounts come from the four Khaz Algar factions — Council of Dornogal, Assembly of the Deeps, Hallowfall Arathi and The Severed Threads — plus the factions added in later TWW patches. Each unlocks mounts at set renown levels; you then claim or buy them from that faction's quartermaster. Renown is account-wide, so any character feeds the same track.
The four TWW renown tracks at a glance
| Faction | Zone | Quartermaster hub | Mount flavour |
| Council of Dornogal | Isle of Dorn | Dornogal | Earthen / stone-and-machine |
| Assembly of the Deeps | The Ringing Deeps | Gundargaz | Machine-speech and mechanical |
| Hallowfall Arathi | Hallowfall | Mereldar | Stormrook flyers |
| The Severed Threads | Azj-Kahet | City of Threads | Nerubian and web-themed |
How to get them, step by step
- Open the faction UI (the Renown tab) and scroll the track — every mount is shown on the exact level that unlocks it, with an icon telling you whether it's a straight unlock or a quartermaster purchase.
- Push renown with that zone's weekly faction quest, world quests, delves in the zone, campaign chapters and the zone events — Theater Troupe in Hallowfall and Awakening the Machine on the Isle of Dorn are the big repeatables.
- When the level pops, claim the reward from the track. Gold-cost mounts sit on the quartermaster's vendor list and only appear once the required renown is reached.
- Missed levels are not lost — rewards you skipped stay claimable, so you can collect a whole track's worth in one sitting after a catch-up push.
Are TWW renown mounts account-wide?
Yes, on both counts that matter. Renown itself is shared across your Warband, so progress made on an alt counts toward the same faction level. And once a mount is learned it's usable by every character on the account, like any other collected mount.
That makes alts genuinely useful here: farm world quests or a delve on whoever is convenient, and the track still moves.
Can I still get them now that TWW is over?
Yes. These are not seasonal or time-limited rewards — no PvP elite-set style cutoff applies. The factions, quartermasters and renown tracks stay in the game, so a returning player can start from zero and work up.
The practical difference is speed, not availability. Old-expansion content is trivially soloable at current gear levels, so the limiter is the weekly and daily cadence of renown sources rather than difficulty.
Which faction should I push first?
Hallowfall Arathi is the usual first pick if you're mount-hunting: the stormrook models are the most distinctive of the four, and Hallowfall's Theater Troupe event plus dense world quests make the zone efficient to farm.
If you want the widest collection haul instead, run the four zones side by side. World quests rotate, so hopping between them wastes less time than grinding one track dry.
Do later patch factions add more mounts?
They do. Each major TWW content patch shipped its own renown faction with its own reward track, and mounts appear on those tracks the same way. Check each new faction's Renown tab separately — they don't share progress with the four launch factions.
If you'd rather have a vetted pro handle the weekly grind while you keep playing what you enjoy, PewPewShop's Reputation & Renown help starts from EUR 19, with an all-faction renown catch-up from EUR 40 — real human players, coaching and play-together only, no bots or cheats.
