Do I need a Skinning Knife to skin in Classic?
Yes. In WoW Classic you must carry a Skinning Knife in your bags before the skin option appears on a corpse. You don't equip it — it just needs to be somewhere in your inventory. Any Trade Goods vendor near a Skinning trainer stocks them for a handful of silver.
What profession pairs best with Skinning?
