WoW: Forever Druids keep the three classic talent trees, which open at level 10. Milestone talents now come at 11, 16, 21 and 31 points. The capstones are Berserk for Feral and Wild Growth for Restoration. Feral chooses between Shifting Power for Cat and Primal Bite for Bear at 16 points, and Mangle is replaced by Primal Bite.

What does Berserk do in WoW: Forever?

Berserk is the 31-point Feral milestone. It lasts 15 seconds on a 3-minute cooldown and makes you immune to Fear. While it is active, Primal Bite hits three targets with no cooldown and Cat combo abilities get +100% critical strike chance. The same button is a burst window in Cat Form and an AoE threat tool in Bear Form.

What are Primal Bite and Shifting Power?

These are the two 16-point Feral medals, and you pick one. Primal Bite is the Bear option: it costs 20 Rage, generates very high threat and takes Mangle's place. The September 24 beta notes also renamed Mangle to Primal Bite and removed its debuff. Shifting Power is the Cat option: it instantly grants 40 Energy for a mana cost on a 16-second cooldown. Improved Shifting Power cuts that cooldown to 8 seconds. When Blizzard posted the deep dive, Shifting Power wasn't on the beta yet.

Furor now lets your Energy regenerate while you are out of Cat Form, but shifting into Bear Form empties that Energy. Blizzard says this stops bear-weaving, and Shifting Power is how power-shifting comes back. Other Feral changes: Heart of the Wild moves to row 1, Feral Charge also works in Cat Form (30-second cooldown), Thick Hide gains armor from Defense, and Tiger's Fury is gone. The Primal Fury talent was renamed Blood Frenzy.

How does Wild Growth work in WoW: Forever?

Wild Growth is the 31-point Restoration milestone. It is a party heal over time that lasts 7 seconds on a 6-second cooldown. Since the September 24 beta notes, Wild Growth, Rejuvenation and Tranquility can all crit. Swiftmend moves to the 16-point slot and no longer consumes the HoT it uses. Improved Tranquility can shorten Tranquility's cooldown by up to 60%.

What changed for Balance and Druids in general?

Balance gets Eclipse: Wrath shortens your next two Starfires and stacks up to four charges. Overgrowth makes Entangling Roots hit up to three targets. Moonkin Form's crit aura now covers all spells and attacks, but it doesn't stack with Leader of the Pack.

Changes for every Druid:

  • Faerie Fire can be cast in forms.
  • Entangling Roots works indoors.
  • Hurricane has no cooldown.
  • Growl's cooldown matches Taunt.
  • Frenzied Regeneration can heal up to 100% of your maximum health.
  • Potions and almost all similar consumables can be used without leaving your form.

Bear Form comes at level 10 and Cat Form at level 20 through a quest. Druids still have no snare, silence or interrupt.
