What order should I do the Caverns of Time quests in?
Before you zone in, pick up Nice Hat... from Don Carlos in Tanaris. Inside Old Hillsbrad, talk to Erozion and do Taretha's Diversion. Then report to Thrall for Escape from Durnholde. Once Taretha is free, turn in to Erozion and take Return to Andormu back to Tanaris. Andormu gives you The Black Morass. Inside that dungeon, Sa'at gives you The Opening of the Dark Portal, and finishing it unlocks Hero of the Brood, which you hand in to Andormu.
Can I do the Wanted quests on my first run?
Not at 66. The two Wind Trader Zhareem bounties and Nether-Stalker Mah'duun's Rift Lords bounty need level 70. You pick them up in Shattrath's Lower City, not in the Caverns of Time. If you are 70, grab them before you queue so the kills count.
Do these dungeons give reputation all the way to Exalted?
Yes. Both Old Hillsbrad and The Black Morass give Keepers of Time reputation to Exalted even on Normal. That makes them some of the better Normal dungeons to farm for reputation. At Revered, Keepers of Time sells the Heroic key for the Caverns of Time. In TBC Anniversary that key is Bind-on-Account, so your alts can use it too.
Why do I fail the Black Morass escort?
The Opening of the Dark Portal fails if Medivh's shield runs out before he finishes the portal. Kill the rift guardians quickly, keep the trash off Medivh, and don't let rifts stack up. If the event fails, reset the instance and try again.
If you would rather run these with an experienced group, PewPewShop's vetted human players offer TBC Anniversary leveling from EUR 25 and raid attunement help from EUR 20. They play with you and walk you through the escort events. No bots and no cheats.
