The Conquest cap is a rolling ceiling on how much Conquest you can earn in a season, and it raises itself by a fixed amount every week the season is live. Unspent Conquest carries over, so a week you skip isn't wasted — the cap simply waits for you. Hit the cap and Conquest sources stop paying out until the next weekly reset raises it again.

How the cap actually behaves

  • It's cumulative, not per-week. Your cap is the season total available so far, minus what you've already earned. Miss three weeks and you can earn all of it back in one sitting.
  • It resets upward on the weekly reset — Tuesday in the US, Wednesday in the EU — not on a rolling 7-day timer from when you last capped.
  • Progress is per character, but the cap ceiling itself is the same for every character you own, so a fresh alt starts at the full accumulated cap.
  • Only Conquest is capped. Honor has no cap, which is why Honor gear is the sane first upgrade path on a fresh character.
  • Once capped, PvP still pays. Rating, Honor, quest rewards and the seasonal PvP currency for mounts and mog keep flowing — you just bank no more Conquest until reset.

Where Conquest comes from

  • Rated Arena and Rated Battleground wins (wins pay noticeably more than losses)
  • Solo Shuffle and Blitz rounds
  • The weekly PvP quest chain from your faction's PvP hub
  • Random and epic BG objectives while the weekly PvP quest is active

What happens if I hit the Conquest cap early?

Nothing breaks. You keep queuing for rating, Honor, and seasonal currency; the Conquest bar simply sits full until reset. Most players who cap on Tuesday night spend the rest of the week pushing rating instead, since rating unlocks the higher item-level upgrade tiers that make the Conquest worth spending.

Do I lose Conquest if I don't spend it?

No. Banked Conquest sits in your currency tab until you use it, and it survives weekly resets. The one thing that does expire is the season itself — spend before a season closes, because Conquest generally doesn't roll into the next one at full value.

Can I catch up if I start the season late?

Yes, and this is the whole point of the design. The cap accrues for absent players too, so someone starting in week eight has eight weeks of headroom waiting. Bring gold or a fast rating push and you can close most of the gear gap in a couple of long sessions.

How much Conquest do I need for a full set?

A complete Conquest set plus the upgrade track costs a large multiple of one week's allowance — plan on several weeks of capping, or catch-up weeks banked from earlier in the season. Prioritize weapon and trinkets first; they're the biggest single-slot power jumps in PvP.

If you'd rather not spend every Tuesday grinding the bar back to zero, PewPewShop's vetted human players can handle it with you — a Weekly Conquest Cap Carry for Midnight Season 2 starts from EUR 12.99, and a broader Conquest Points Farm up to 30,000 starts from EUR 7.5. Same idea for rating: real players, coaching and play-together sessions, no bots or cheats, and a long clean record.
