Keystone Hero: Cathedral of Eternal Night is the achievement for timing a Cathedral of Eternal Night Mythic+ key at level 10 or higher, and it unlocks a permanent teleport to the dungeon entrance on the Broken Shore. You can only earn it while Cathedral is in the active Mythic+ rotation — it is not in the Midnight Season 2 pool, so it has to come back first.
Keystone Hero: Cathedral of Eternal Night at a glance
| Achievement | Keystone Hero: Cathedral of Eternal Night (Mythic+ achievement category) |
| Requirement | Finish the dungeon on a Mythic+10 or higher keystone inside the timer. A depleted (over-time) run does not count. |
| Reward | A teleport spell to the Cathedral entrance. It stays in your spellbook for good, even after the dungeon leaves the rotation. |
| The dungeon | Legion, patch 7.2. Four bosses: Agronox, Thrashbite the Scornful, Domatrax and Mephistroth. Entrance on the Broken Shore beside the Tomb of Sargeras. |
| Right now | Not in the Midnight Season 2 pool. The achievement cannot be earned this season. |
| Old bar | Before the Dragonflight Season 4 key-level squish, per-dungeon Keystone Hero needed a timed +20. The current +10 is the same tier of difficulty under the new numbering. |
Is Cathedral of Eternal Night in the current Mythic+ pool?
No. Midnight Season 2 runs Altar of Fangs, Murder Row, Den of Nalorakk, The Blinding Vale, Voidscar Arena, Kings' Rest, Temple of Sethraliss and Ruby Life Pools. Season 1 had Windrunner Spire, Maisara Caverns, Nexus-Point Xenas, Magisters' Terrace, Algeth'ar Academy, Seat of the Triumvirate, Skyreach and Pit of Saron. Cathedral is in neither list.
That does not mean it is off the table. Legacy dungeons return every season now — Skyreach, Pit of Saron and Kings' Rest all came back in Midnight — so if Cathedral shows up in a future season preview, the Keystone Hero achievement becomes earnable the day that season goes live. Until then, the only place you can run it is Legion Mythic (non-keystone), which awards nothing toward Keystone Hero.
What exactly does "Keystone Hero" require?
There are two achievements with that name, and people mix them up. The per-dungeon version — Keystone Hero: Dungeon Name — asks for one timed run at +10 or above in that specific dungeon. One clean +10 in the Cathedral would do it; nothing else about your season matters.
The seasonal version — Keystone Hero: Midnight Season Two — is a rating achievement at 2,500 Mythic+ score across the whole pool, sitting between Keystone Master (2,000) and Keystone Legend (3,000). It has nothing to do with any single dungeon, and it is the one that shows up in raider profiles and group-finder filters.
Do you keep the teleport after the dungeon rotates out?
Yes. Dungeon teleports earned through Keystone Hero are account-wide unlocks that never expire. The Cathedral teleport would drop you at the Broken Shore entrance, which doubles as a fast route to the Tomb of Sargeras raid for transmog and mount farming. The spell has an hours-long cooldown, so it is a convenience for the first trip of the day, not a free hearthstone.
Where is Cathedral of Eternal Night?
On the Broken Shore in the Broken Isles, built into the exterior of the Tomb of Sargeras. Fly to Deliverance Point and head toward the Tomb; the dungeon entrance sits on the approach to the raid. The run climbs through the cathedral halls, past Agronox's corrupted garden and Thrashbite's hall, to Domatrax and finally Mephistroth on the upper floor.
If Cathedral does return to the rotation and you would rather not pug a +10 to chase the achievement, PewPewShop's vetted human players can run it with you as a Mythic+ Specific Dungeon order (from EUR 20) or a Mythic +10 Timed Run (from EUR 19.98) — play together, no bots, and a long zero-ban record. Coaching is available if you want to learn the pulls and time it yourself.
