Journeyman Tailoring in WoW Classic is taught by any Tailoring trainer as soon as your character is level 10 and your Tailoring skill is 50. How to get from 50 to 150 after training

1. 50–75: keep using Linen — Reinforced Linen Cape and Heavy Linen Gloves are the usual fillers, and Bolts of Linen Cloth still give points early on.
2. 75–100: switch to Wool. Bolt of Woolen Cloth opens at 75; Woolen Cape and Simple Kilt are cheap, steady points.
3. 100–125: Double-stitched Woolen Shoulders and Gray Woolen Robe carry you to Expert territory. Buy Expert Tailoring at level 20 / skill 125 from the same city trainer.
4. 125–150: Silk takes over. Bolt of Silk Cloth, then Azure Silk Hood and Silk Headband finish the Journeyman range and push you toward 150 and beyond.

What is the difference between Apprentice, Journeyman, Expert and Artisan Tailoring?

Each rank raises your skill cap by 75 and needs a higher character level: Apprentice (cap 75, any level), Journeyman (cap 150, level 10, skill 50), Expert (cap 225, level 20, skill 125) and Artisan (cap 300, level 35, skill 200). Apprentice through Expert are sold by any Tailoring trainer.

Artisan is the one rank that sends you somewhere specific. In Classic it is taught by a short list of trainers — Georgio Bolero in Stormwind and Josef Gregorian in Undercity are the two most players use — so plan that trip around skill 200 rather than the Journeyman step.

Can I learn Journeyman Tailoring before level 10?

No. Even if you grind Tailoring to 50 by level 8 from bag-farmed linen, the trainer will not offer Journeyman until your character reaches level 10. Until then you can keep crafting Apprentice recipes up to skill 75, so there is no lost progress — just a short wait.

Do I have to go back to the trainer who taught me Apprentice?

No. Trainers are not tied to you. Learn Apprentice in Goldshire, Journeyman in Stormwind and Expert in Ironforge if that is where your leveling takes you — every Tailoring trainer teaches the rank as long as you meet the level and skill requirement, and the patterns they sell overlap heavily.

Where do I get wool and silk for the Journeyman range?

Wool Cloth drops from humanoids roughly level 15–30 (Redridge, Ashenvale, Hillsbrad, the Barrens, Stockade and Wailing Caverns are reliable), and Silk Cloth from humanoids in the 25–40 bracket, with Scarlet Monastery and Razorfen Downs being the classic farming spots.
