The Shaman level 30 weapon quest in WoW: Forever ends with The Tempest's Weapons, which you turn in to Bath'rah the Windwatcher in Alterac Mountains. On the beta it follows the Wind Totem quest and has three steps: Elemental Aid (loot from Charlga Razorflank in Razorfen Kraul), Storm, Earth, and Fire (20 twisted totems), and Heed My Call in Thousand Needles. You then choose one of three weapons, and Elementalist's Guard comes as well.
Beta progress is temporary: beta gold is wiped on October 21. Launch gold has its own card. Launch gold (from November 4) · All Forever services
The chain step by step (per Wowhead, on the beta)
- Finish the Wind Totem quest. The level 30 chain opens after it.
- Elemental Aid: kill Charlga Razorflank, the final boss of Razorfen Kraul, and take the quest item from her loot. Bring a dungeon group.
- Storm, Earth, and Fire: collect 20 twisted totems from mobs in Dustwallow Marsh, Desolace, Swamp of Sorrows and the Badlands.
- Heed My Call: in Thousand Needles, fight waves of level 40 elite elementals and Quilltusk enemies.
- Turn in to Bath'rah the Windwatcher in Alterac Mountains to finish The Tempest's Weapons.

Where do twisted totems drop for Storm, Earth, and Fire?
They come from mobs in the four zones listed above. A later beta build made this step much easier: twisted totems now drop more often, and more mob types carry them, including Maraudine Scouts, Ongeku, Murdaloc and the Dustbelcher ogres in the Badlands. Quest creatures also respawn faster, so waiting for camps to come back takes less time than it did at first.
Can you solo Heed My Call at level 30?
Plan for help. The waves are level 40 elites, which is ten levels above the current beta cap of 30. Blizzard says a solo player needs roughly 10–15 seconds to kill an ordinary mob, and these are not ordinary mobs. A friend or two makes the step far safer. On the beta the Eye of the Tempest item for Heed My Call is now multi-drop, so everyone in the group gets one and no one has to repeat the event.
Which weapon should you pick from The Tempest's Weapons?
Your options are Lightning's Grasp, Tidebringer's Claw and Rage of the Storm. Blizzard hasn't published final stats, and beta numbers can still change, so let your spec decide. Remember that Enhancement in Forever is built around two-handed weapons only, while Elemental and Restoration Shaman get spell damage and healing from caster weapons. Elementalist's Guard comes with whichever weapon you choose.
Is this quest final for launch?
No. Everything here comes from the beta, which runs until October 21, 2026. Blizzard has already changed this chain once, with faster respawns and better drop rates. Names, rewards and difficulty may change again before WoW: Forever launches on November 4, 2026.
