The core TBC Anniversary addon kit is Questie for quest tracking, AtlasLoot for raid and dungeon loot tables, Details! for damage meters, Deadly Boss Mods or BigWigs for boss timers, and Auctionator for the Auction House. Install them through CurseForge or WowUp, and pick the addon version marked for the Anniversary client, not Classic Era or Retail.

How to install TBC addons
- Install an addon manager such as CurseForge or WowUp.
- Point it at your WoW install and select the Anniversary game version.
- Search the addon by name and confirm the listing supports that client.
- Restart the game, then tick the addons on the AddOns button at character select.
- If something errors, toggle "Load out of date AddOns" only as a last resort and check for an update first.
Is AtlasLoot updated for TBC Anniversary?
AtlasLoot's Classic branch covers Burning Crusade content, including Karazhan, Gruul's Lair, Magtheridon's Lair, Serpentshrine Cavern, Tempest Keep and the current Phase 3 raids, Black Temple and the Battle for Mount Hyjal. Grab the build listed for the Anniversary client; an old TBC Classic copy from 2021 may load but miss fixes.
One caveat: an addon loot table shows what a boss can drop. It does not reflect version-specific tweaks such as the extra Tier 6 token drops Blizzard's announcement lists for this version, so treat token counts as a guide, not a guarantee.
Do I still need a UI addon like ElvUI or Bartender?
Less than you used to. The Anniversary client ships with Edit Mode, so you can move and resize action bars, unit frames and most panels without any addon. Full UI replacements like ElvUI are now a taste choice rather than a requirement. Many players keep the default frames and add only Bartender4 for extra bar options.
Which addon helps with attunements?
Attunement tracker addons list every step of each raid key chain and show which steps you have finished. They matter a bit less in this version: Blizzard's announcement confirms attunements are account-wide, so finishing one on any character unlocks that raid for all your characters. Questie still helps find each quest giver along the chain.
Are TBC addons allowed?
Yes. Addons from CurseForge or WowUp use Blizzard's own addon interface and are fine to use. Anything that plays the game for you, such as bots or automation tools, is a different thing and gets accounts banned. Stick with established, widely used addons.
If you would rather have a vetted pro help with the grind, PewPewShop offers TBC Raid Attunements from EUR 20 and Karazhan clears from EUR 109, played together with experienced human players, no bots or cheats.
