WoW Classic has five Deadmines quests, all Alliance-only: Red Silk Bandanas and The Defias Brotherhood from Westfall, and Collecting Memories, Oh Brother... and Underground Assault from Stormwind City. Quest levels run from 17 to 22, and you can pick them up from level 14 or 15. The Defias Brotherhood chain ends with killing Edwin VanCleef.

| Collecting Memories | 18 | 14 | Wilder Thistlenettle (Stormwind City) | Retrieve 4 Miners' Union Cards |
| Oh Brother. . . | 20 | 15 | Wilder Thistlenettle (Stormwind City) | Bring back Foreman Thistlenettle's Explorers' League Badge |
| Underground Assault | 20 | 15 | Shoni the Shilent (Stormwind City) | Recover the Gnoam Sprecklesprocket from the Deadmines |

Quick checklist before you zone in
- Westfall stops: Sentinel Hill has both Westfall givers. Gryan Stoutmantle starts The Defias Brotherhood and Scout Riell is in the tower.
- Stormwind stops: Wilder Thistlenettle gives two quests and Shoni the Shilent gives one. Pick all three up before you take the road to Westfall.
- Level window: every quest is available from level 14 or 15. Running the dungeon at around 18-20 is easier, and all five quests will still give useful experience.
- Group: it's a five-player dungeon, so share the quests with your party at the entrance so everyone gets credit in one run.
Are there any Horde quests for the Deadmines?
No. Questie's quest database files all five Deadmines quests under the Alliance. The instance sits deep in Alliance territory, so Horde players at the same level usually run Ragefire Chasm, Wailing Caverns or Shadowfang Keep for quest XP instead.
Do I have to do The Defias Brotherhood chain first?
The Defias Brotherhood is the dungeon's story quest and the one most players care about, because it ends with VanCleef's head and a reward worth having for your level. You get it from Gryan Stoutmantle at Sentinel Hill, and it needs level 14. It's the highest-level quest on the list (22), so it's the one most likely to still be worth doing if you arrive a little late.
Which Deadmines quests start outside the dungeon?
All of them. Two start in Westfall and three in Stormwind City, and every turn-in goes back to the person who gave you the quest. Plan one trip into Stormwind before the run and one after, since Collecting Memories, Oh Brother. . . and Underground Assault are all handed in there.
Can I finish every Deadmines quest in one run?
Usually yes, if you go all the way to Edwin VanCleef and clear the dungeon as you go. Red Silk Bandanas asks for 10 bandanas and Collecting Memories asks for 4 cards. Both are collection quests, so a full clear helps, and if anyone in the group is still short at the end, they may need to keep clearing or come back.
If your schedule doesn't leave room for pugging the Deadmines, PewPewShop's vetted players can run it with you as play-together dungeon help. The Classic Dungeon Boost starts from EUR 11, and WoW Classic Character Leveling starts from EUR 18 if you'd rather have a pro help with the whole climb.
