Razorfen Downs has six quests in WoW Classic: four for Alliance and five for Horde. Both factions can do A Host of Evil and the Belnistrasz chain (Scourge of the Downs, then Extinguishing the Idol). Horde adds An Unholy Alliance and Bring the End from Undercity. Alliance adds Bring the Light from Stormwind. Quest levels go from 35 to 42.

Quick prep checklist
- Get the city quests before you leave. Varimathras and Andrew Brownell are in Undercity. Archbishop Benedictus is in Stormwind. You can't pick these up at the instance.
- Get A Host of Evil at the door. Myriam Moonsinger stands near the entrance in The Barrens, so you can take it on the way in.
- Watch the required levels. Bring the Light needs level 39, which is higher than any other RFD quest. Alliance players under 39 can't take it yet.
- Share the Belnistrasz chain. Both parts need level 32. Make sure the whole group has accepted them before anyone starts the escort.
How do you start the Belnistrasz quests in RFD?
Belnistrasz is inside the dungeon. Talk to him and agree to help, and he gives you an Oathstone. Talk to him again and hand it back. That completes Scourge of the Downs and unlocks Extinguishing the Idol, where you escort him to the quilboar idol. Clear the area first and have everyone ready, because the escort starts when he moves.
Which RFD quests can Alliance players do?
Alliance players get four: A Host of Evil, Scourge of the Downs, Extinguishing the Idol and Bring the Light. Bring the Light sends you after Amnennar the Coldbringer and needs level 39. If your group is mostly in the mid-30s, run the other three now and come back for Amnennar's quest later.
Which RFD quests are Horde-only?
Horde gets two extra quests, both from Undercity. Varimathras gives An Unholy Alliance (Ambassador Malcin's Head, needs level 28). Andrew Brownell gives Bring the End (Amnennar's skull, needs level 37). Add the three shared quests and Horde can do five quests in one run.
What level should you be for Razorfen Downs quests?
The quests range from level 35 to 42. Most groups do best in the late 30s. At that level everyone can take the shared quests, and the Amnennar quests (needs 37 for Horde, 39 for Alliance) are within reach. Coming in a bit higher makes the final boss kill much safer.
