Zul'Farrak has 10 quests in Questie's quest database, all quest level 45-50 and all requiring level 40. Eight are open to both factions; The Spider God is Horde-only and Nekrum's Medallion is Alliance-only. Most start in Gadgetzan, Tanaris, so pick them up there before you enter. A few begin in Durotar, Thunder Bluff, Stranglethorn Vale, Blasted Lands or Thousand Needles.

Quick pickup route
- Gadgetzan (Tanaris): Troll Temper from Trenton Lighthammer, Divino-matic Rod from Chief Engineer Bilgewhizzle, and Scarab Shells from Tran'rek. Yeh'kinya, who gives The Prophecy of Mosh'aru, is also in Tanaris.
- Thousand Needles: Gahz'rilla from Wizzle Brassbolts at the Shimmering Flats. It's the highest-level quest on the list, so it's the one most worth holding until your group is ready.
- Faction-only quests: Horde grab The Spider God from Master Gadrin in Durotar; Alliance grab Nekrum's Medallion from Thadius Grimshade in the Blasted Lands.
- Chain starters: Tran'rek (from Krazek in Stranglethorn Vale) leads into Scarab Shells, and Tabetha's Task (from Ursyn Ghull in Thunder Bluff) leads into Tiara of the Deep.
Which Zul'Farrak quests are chains?
Two of them. Krazek in Stranglethorn Vale sends you to Tran'rek in Gadgetzan, and talking to Tran'rek unlocks Scarab Shells. Ursyn Ghull in Thunder Bluff sends you to Tabetha in Dustwallow Marsh, who then gives Tiara of the Deep. You can skip the intro step and take the second quest straight from Tran'rek or Tabetha.
What level should I be for ZF quests?
Every quest can be accepted at level 40, but the quests themselves are level 45 to 50. In practice, the 45s are comfortable in the mid-40s, and Gahz'rilla (level 50) works best near the top of that range or with a strong group.
Are any Zul'Farrak quests faction-specific?
Yes, two. The Spider God is Horde-only and Nekrum's Medallion is Alliance-only. The other eight are open to both factions, including Tabetha's Task even though it starts in Thunder Bluff.
Do quests that start outside the dungeon still count as ZF quests?
Yes. The game puts all ten under Zul'Farrak in your quest log, even the ones handed out in Durotar, Stranglethorn or the Blasted Lands. The objective items come from inside the instance, so collect everything before you zone in and you won't need a second run.
