The official Battleground Blitz leaderboard lives on the World of Warcraft website under Game, PvP, Leaderboards, where you pick your region and the Battleground Blitz bracket. It ranks the current season's top solo-queue players by rating, with spec, realm and win-loss record shown. In game there is no full ladder — the PvP tab shows only your own rating and rank tier.
Four places to check Blitz standings
- Official leaderboard: worldofwarcraft.com, then Game, PvP, Leaderboards. Choose your region (US, EU, KR, TW), then the Battleground Blitz bracket. Solo brackets can also be filtered by specialization.
- In game: open the PvP tab (default hotkey H) and select the rated Battleground Blitz entry. You get current rating, season high, weekly wins and your current rank tier — but not other players' positions.
- Armory profile: your character page has a PvP section listing every rated bracket you have played this season.
- Third-party trackers: community sites pull the same numbers straight from Blizzard's API, so they mirror the official ladder with a short delay and often add history and spec breakdowns.
What the ladder is ranking
Blitz is the solo-queue rated battleground mode: you sign up alone, get slotted into an 8v8 team, and your personal rating moves with the result. The leaderboard is therefore a straight ranking of individual season rating — not team or guild standings.
The rank tiers you climb through are, in order, Combatant, Challenger, Rival, Duelist and Elite. Exact cutoffs shift from season to season, with Elite sitting around the 2100 mark in recent seasons. Tier progress is separate from the leaderboard itself: you can hold a solid Duelist rating and still be far outside the listed top ranks.
Do you need a minimum number of games to show up?
You need an active rating in the current season on that character, in that bracket, in that region. Playing a handful of matches and stopping usually means you slide off the visible listing as active players pass you, and characters that never queue rated Blitz never appear at all.
If your name is missing, check that you picked the right region and the Blitz bracket rather than 3v3 or Rated Battlegrounds, and give the page time — it refreshes on a delay rather than instantly after a match.
Does Blitz rating reset each season?
Yes. Every PvP season starts your rating fresh, and the leaderboard is season-specific. End-of-season standing is what determines rank achievements, seasonal rewards and the top-end titles, so late-season pushes matter more than a high number earned months earlier.
How do you actually climb the Blitz ladder?
Blitz rewards objective play over deathmatch instincts. Cap and defend, follow the cart or flag carrier, and treat healers as the win condition on both sides. Because you queue solo with no voice comms, the reliable gains come from playing a spec you know cold, using target markers and short chat calls, and queueing in longer sessions rather than two matches a night.
Loss streaks are normal at every bracket. Rating swings hardest between roughly 1400 and 1800, where team composition luck is at its loudest — track your own win rate over 30-plus games, not over an evening.
