The Forsaken Kingdom is a Warcraft III: Reforged campaign that Blizzard bundles only with the Warcraft Forever Collection, the top-tier upgrade pack for World of Warcraft: Forever. Buying the Collection gets you Warcraft III: Reforged, the Forsaken Kingdom campaign, housing figurines and everything in the Skyborne Epic Pack. The Collection is sold only until January 11, 2027, and the campaign is not part of the Heroic or Epic packs.

One point worth being blunt about: Blizzard has named the campaign and placed it in the Collection, and that is where the confirmed information stops. Anything you read about specific missions, heroes or a chapter count is speculation until Blizzard publishes it.

No. World of Warcraft: Forever launches on November 4, 2026 and is included with an active WoW subscription or Game Time, with no separate purchase. The Collection only adds extras on top.
If all you want is the new Skyborne race and a reserved name, the Skyborne Heroic Pack at €29.99 covers it. If you want beta access and bundled game time, the Epic Pack does that. The Collection is for players who also want Warcraft III: Reforged, the Forsaken Kingdom campaign and the housing figurines.
Can I buy the Forsaken Kingdom campaign on its own?
At announcement the campaign appears only as part of the Warcraft Forever Collection, and Blizzard has not said whether it will be sold separately later. Since the Collection itself disappears from the shop after January 11, 2027, treat that date as the safe cutoff if the campaign is your main reason for buying.
If you already own Warcraft III: Reforged, the Collection still lists the full game as an item; Blizzard has not published how that duplicate is handled, so do not assume a discount or a refund.
Is the Forever Collection worth it over the Epic Pack?
The honest trade-off: the Epic Pack already contains the beta, the game time, the Skyborne race, the mount and the three invite codes. The Collection adds exactly three things: Warcraft III: Reforged, the Forsaken Kingdom campaign and the figurines for housing. If you would not otherwise play Warcraft III, the upgrade buys you very little for Forever itself.
There is also a physical Collector's Edition with a statue of the Dwarf Hunter and bear from the original cinematic, aimed at collectors rather than at anyone hunting for in-game advantages.
What is WoW: Forever, in one paragraph?
It is a third World of Warcraft experience next to Modern and Classic, built by the Classic team and set in the game's first year. The level cap stays at 60 for good, with new content arriving in patches rather than expansions. Launch brings three new zones (Zephras Isle, the Riverglades and Mount Hyjal), 1,000+ quests, nine new dungeons, two new raids and the Skyborne race, with Barrow Deeps, Hyjal Summit and Onyxia's Lair unlocking on December 9, 2026.
