A Keystone Master calculator is a score planner: you enter your best Mythic+ run in each dungeon, and it tells you which key levels you still need to hit 2,000 Mythic+ rating — the Keystone Master threshold. The math is simple: eight dungeons, only your best run in each counts, so you need roughly 250 points per dungeon on average.

The math behind every Keystone Master calculator

  • Target: 2,000 rating. That is the number the achievement checks. Nothing else — not item level, not the number of runs.
  • Eight dungeons, eight slots. Your rating is the sum of your best result in each dungeon of the current season pool.
  • Only your best run counts. A second, better run replaces the old one — it does not stack. Your real gain is the difference between the two, which is why re-running a dungeon you already pushed high is the worst value.
  • Higher key = more points. Each level up adds a fixed chunk, and timing the key is worth meaningfully more than finishing it late.
  • Depleted keys still pay. An over-time run awards reduced score, not zero.

Calculate your gap in four steps

  1. Open the group finder and check the Mythic+ tab, or pull up your character on Raider.IO, to see your current total and your per-dungeon bests.
  2. Subtract your total from 2,000. That is your gap.
  3. Divide the gap by the number of dungeons where your best run is weak or missing. That is the average you need to add per dungeon.
  4. Push those weak dungeons first. Replacing a 120-point dungeon with a 260-point run nets you 140; replacing a 280 with a 290 nets you 10.

Is there an official Keystone Master calculator in-game?

No. Blizzard shows your current rating and your best run per dungeon, but there is no built-in tool that plans your route to 2,000. Third-party sites and addons fill that gap by listing per-dungeon bests side by side so the weak slots are obvious.

Honestly, the spreadsheet is not the hard part — the subtraction takes a minute. Finding groups for the keys you actually need is what eats the week.

Do untimed keys count toward Keystone Master?

Yes. Completing a key over the timer still awards rating, just less than timing the same level. If you are stuck a few dozen points short, a couple of depleted runs in your weakest dungeons can close it — but timing a slightly lower key is usually the faster path.

Does Keystone Master reset each season?

Yes. Mythic+ rating wipes when a new season starts, and the achievement is earned fresh each season with its own reward. Score you built last season does not carry into the new one, so every season starts the climb to 2,000 from zero.

What comes after 2,000?

Two thousand is the Keystone Master line. The next milestone most players chase is 3,000 rating, which sits in title territory and demands consistently high, timed keys rather than a broad spread of mid-level runs.

If you would rather not spend three weeks fishing for groups, our Keystone Master Boost — 2,000 M+ score and Breath of Blight, Season 2 — starts from EUR 139.99, run by vetted human players who can also coach you through the routes and pull timings as you go. Plenty of people just want the last 200 points; a Mythic+ Rating (Score) Boost from EUR 45 covers that instead.
