The Midnight Season 2 Mythic+ pool has eight dungeons: Altar of Fangs (new this season), Murder Row, Den of Nalorakk, The Blinding Vale and Voidscar Arena from Midnight, Ruby Life Pools from Dragonflight, and Kings' Rest and Temple of Sethraliss from Battle for Azeroth. Time any of them at +10 or higher to unlock its portal.

- Season start: Mythic+ Season 2 opened the week of August 18, 2026. Altar of Fangs arrived a week earlier on Heroic and Mythic 0, where Mythic 0 drops item level 292.
- Portals: timing a +10 or higher unlocks that dungeon's teleport.
- Rating rewards: Keystone Conqueror at 1500 (title "the Venomous"), Keystone Master at 2000 (mount Breath of Blight), Keystone Legend at 3000 (mount Breath of Ruin), and Keystone Myth at 3600, which returns with patch 12.1.5.
- Level cap: 90. Midnight raised it from 80 when it launched on March 2, 2026.
What changed in the dungeons with patch 12.1.5?
Patch 12.1.5 goes live October 13 in the Americas and October 14 in Europe, and it brings targeted Mythic+ tuning. Altar of Fangs gets the largest round of nerfs: Primal Serpent's Piercing Hiss deals 25% less damage, Ascendant Serpent has 21% less health, and Living Venom has 25% less health with Venom Burst cut by half. Ruby Life Pools also gets a real change, since Primalist Cinderweaver's Living Bomb can now be dispelled and a dispel stops the explosion.
Murder Row (Zaen Bladesorrow's Fire Bomb is down 33%), The Blinding Vale, Voidscar Arena and Temple of Sethraliss all received smaller numeric cuts. Blizzard's 12.1.5 notes describe this as tuning aimed at the outlier dungeons that comes alongside Keystone Myth.
Which Midnight dungeon is hardest right now?
Before 12.1.5, Altar of Fangs and Ruby Life Pools drew the most targeted fixes, and you can read that as Blizzard agreeing they were the outliers. After the patch the gap should narrow. Your own key level and group comp will still decide which dungeon feels worst, so look at your Raider.IO breakdown instead of a general ranking.
Why push +10 keys this season?
Beyond the portal, from the week of October 20 Mythic+ runs at +10 and higher drop Ascendant Venomstones. Bring 10 of them to the Catalyst in Silvermoon City and you can raise the item level of a fully upgraded Season 2 Hero or Myth weapon, trinket or necklace. Blizzard hasn't said how big the increase is. The crest cap also lifts that same week.
Is there a Keystone Hero at 2500 this season?
No. Blizzard's Season 2 list has no 2500 achievement, so 2500 is only a score milestone. The tiers that pay out are 1500, 2000, 3000 and 3600, with Venomous Champion (top 1% of your region) and Venomous Hero (top 0.1%) awarded when the season ends.
