There is no separate "Warband XP boost" item in Midnight. Warband XP works through Warband-wide reputation, campaign progress, and shared bonuses that carry across every character on your account, plus the long-standing account-wide leveling accelerators: heirloom gear, rested XP banked in inns, and the War Mode bonus while leveling in open-world zones.
The confusion is understandable. "Warband" is Blizzard's account-wide layer introduced in The War Within, and it does share a lot between characters — but it shares progress, not a stacking experience multiplier you toggle on.
What actually speeds up leveling on alts
- Heirloom gear — the classic account-wide XP percentage, upgraded once and worn by every alt you roll.
- Rested XP — log out in an inn or capital city. Your character banks bonus XP while offline, and it applies to kills when you return.
- War Mode — an XP bonus for questing in open-world zones, at the cost of being flagged for PvP.
- Warband reputation — renown and faction standing earned on one character counts toward the account, so alts skip large chunks of grind.
- Campaign skips — once your Warband has cleared an expansion's story, alts frequently get an abbreviated path instead of the full chain.
- Warband bank — shared gold and item storage means you can hand an alt gear, consumables and bags the second it exists.
Where Warband sharing actually applies
| Shared across Warband | Reputation and renown, campaign completion, collections, achievements, bank tab access |
| Per character | Character level, item level, talents, professions, weekly loot |
| Not a thing | A purchasable "Warband XP buff" that multiplies experience account-wide |
Does Warband XP transfer between my characters?
Character level itself does not transfer — each alt still levels individually. What transfers is everything around it: reputation, renown, campaign flags and unlocks. That is why the second and third alt through a zone feel dramatically faster than the first, even without an XP multiplier.
Is a level boost still faster than leveling manually?
A paid Blizzard character boost drops a character at a set level instantly, but it leaves you with no gear, no reputation and no campaign progress on that character. Manual leveling with heirlooms and rested XP is slower on the clock but hands you a character that can actually queue for content the same day. Most players boost only when they want a specific class ready for a raid week.
What should I do first on a fresh Midnight alt?
Empty your rested XP into the fastest quest zone you know, wear heirlooms, and pull generously — the account-wide reputation you already own means you are not starting the story from zero. Once you hit max level, catch-up gear and the weekly cadence matter more than XP rate ever did.
Does War Mode still help at max level?
Its XP bonus stops mattering once you cap, but the associated bonuses to open-world rewards can still be worth having on if you spend time in outdoor zones. If you dislike being flagged, turn it off in your faction's capital — there is no penalty for switching.
If you would rather skip the grind entirely, PewPewShop's vetted human players can handle it as coaching or play-together progression help — Power Leveling from EUR 18.4, Leveling 1–80 by Class from EUR 22.4, an Alt Leveling Pack from EUR 62, or Midnight Campaign Completion from EUR 23.99 if it is the story flags you actually want. No bots, no cheats, and a long zero-ban record.
