The standard WoW Classic druid flag carry spec is roughly 14/32/5 — 14 points in Balance for Nature's Grasp and Improved Nature's Grasp, 32 in Feral for Feral Charge, Thick Hide, Feline Swiftness and Heart of the Wild, and 5 in Restoration for 5/5 Furor. You carry in Dire Bear Form, root every melee that touches you, and Feral Charge back to your side of the map.

You have 51 talent points at level 60, so that split spends every one of them on staying alive and staying mobile. Nothing goes into damage.

TalentTreeWhy an FC takes it
Nature's Grasp + Improved Nature's GraspBalanceReactive root on the next attacker, raised to a guaranteed proc. Your single best "get off me" button.
Feral ChargeFeralGap closer, interrupt and brief immobilize. Also your escape tool — charge a teammate's target to reposition.
Thick HideFeralFlat armor on top of Dire Bear's multiplier. Physical damage is most of what kills carriers.
Feline SwiftnessFeralCat Form speed for the run to the enemy flag room before you ever pick anything up.
Heart of the WildFeralUp to 20% more Stamina in bear. Thousands of extra effective HP over a long carry.
Furor (5/5)RestorationGuaranteed rage on shifting into bear, so Frenzied Regeneration and Feral Charge are ready instantly.

Bear Form or Cat Form for carrying?

Dire Bear, almost always. The armor multiplier and Heart of the Wild stamina are what let you eat a full enemy team while your side caps. Cat Form is for the approach and for repositioning inside the flag room, not for holding.

The shift itself is a tool. Swapping forms breaks Polymorph and roots, and Furor hands you the rage to act the moment you land back in bear.

Should I drop Heart of the Wild for Nature's Swiftness?

Some FC druids skip the Balance dip and push about 26 Feral / 25 Restoration to reach Nature's Swiftness for an instant Healing Touch. It is a real panic button, but you give up either Improved Nature's Grasp or a chunk of bear stamina to get it.

Rule of thumb: if your team peels well and you mostly need one clutch heal, take Nature's Swiftness. If you are carrying solo against a competent premade, keep the roots and the health pool.

What gear and consumables does a Classic FC druid want?

Stack Stamina and armor over anything else — bear scaling rewards it, and there is no damage to protect. "Of the Bear" pieces, PvP rank gear and any high-armor leather are fine; the flag does not care about your gear score.

Bring the PvP trinket for movement-impairing effects, plus Free Action Potions, health potions and a defensive elixir. Free Action in particular turns a losing tunnel fight into a clean escape.

Does race matter?

It is decided for you in Classic — Night Elf on Alliance, Tauren on Horde. Tauren's War Stomp is a genuine FC tool for peeling a pack off you; Night Elves lean on Shadowmeld before the pickup and on the Nature Resistance racial.

If you would rather learn this from someone who has already done a few hundred Warsong carries, PewPewShop pairs you with vetted human players for live coaching and play-together sessions — talent choices, kiting routes, when to burn Nature's Grasp, reviewed in real queues rather than in theory. Same option covers rank and honor progression help if the grind is the part you do not enjoy. No bots, no cheats, and it usually takes a couple of sessions before the habits stick.
