In The War Within Season 3 the Conquest cap started at 1,350 in week one and grew by 550 with every weekly reset, so the ceiling accumulated instead of resetting — miss a week and you could still earn everything up to the current total. Later in the season Blizzard lifted the cap completely. TWW Season 3 has since ended; Midnight is the live expansion now.

Season 3 Conquest cap by week

Week 11,350
Week 21,900
Week 32,450
Week 43,000
Week 53,550
Week 64,100
Week 85,200
Week 106,300
  • Formula: 1,350 + 550 × (weeks since the season started, counting from zero).
  • The cap is a running total, not a weekly allowance. A player who joined in week 6 could farm the full 4,100 immediately.
  • Once Blizzard removed the cap partway through the season, Conquest was uncapped for the rest of it — the fastest window to finish a full set.
  • Honor, Bloody Tokens and the Great Vault are separate systems with their own limits; none of them count against Conquest.

Where do I see my current Conquest cap in game?

Open the Group Finder (default key I), switch to the PvP tab, and look at the Conquest bar at the top. It shows how much you have earned against the ceiling for the current week. The same number also appears under Currency in your character sheet, with the cap listed next to the total.

If the bar is full, every rated win that week gives you rating and Honor but no Conquest until the next reset raises the ceiling again.

What is the fastest way to earn Conquest each week?

Rated wins are the main source — Solo Shuffle rounds, Battleground Blitz, 2v2, 3v3 and Rated Battlegrounds all pay out on a win. On top of that, the weekly rated PvP quest from the Stormwind or Orgrimmar PvP vendors hands over a large lump of Conquest for a set number of wins, which is usually the quickest way to fill most of a fresh week's cap.

Unrated battlegrounds and Epic battlegrounds give a smaller trickle of Conquest for wins, useful if you are only a couple hundred short and do not want to queue rated. The first win of the day in each rated bracket used to be worth noticeably more than the following ones, so spreading queues across Shuffle, Blitz and arena beats grinding one bracket.

Does the same cap apply in Midnight?

The rolling 1,350-plus-550 pattern has been Blizzard's default for several seasons in a row, but the exact figures for the live Midnight season are best read directly from the in-game Conquest bar rather than assumed from Season 3. Check the bar after each weekly reset — it always shows the true current ceiling.

What happens to leftover Conquest when the season ends?

Historically Blizzard converts unspent Conquest at the season transition rather than carrying it forward as Conquest, so anything sitting in your currency tab when Season 3 closed was not usable for Midnight gear. Season 3 Conquest items are now legacy pieces: good for transmog, not for current-season power.

If you would rather have a vetted human player help you hit the weekly ceiling than grind rated queues, PewPewShop offers a Weekly Conquest Cap Carry for the current Midnight Season 2 from EUR 12.99, and a Conquest Points Farm for any amount up to 30,000 from EUR 7.5 — play-together or coaching format, no bots or cheats, long zero-ban record.
