WoW: Forever gold is priced by region: the EU card starts from EUR 11 and the US card from EUR 16.5 — roughly 1.5 times more for the same amount of gold. Both are pre-orders until Forever launches on November 4, 2026, and each is delivered in-game strictly inside the region you order for. Gold never moves between US and EU, so pick the region your characters will actually live in.

Why is US Forever gold more expensive than EU?
Supply. Gold in a brand-new game mode is farmed by people, not printed, and at launch the EU side has a deeper pool of vetted farmers in overlapping time zones. Fewer hands on US means each unit costs more to produce, and the card price reflects that rather than any difference in what you receive. The multiplier of about 1.5 is set once, so you always know the gap up front.
Expect the gap to narrow as the economy matures and more sellers list stock. Prices on both cards are pre-order rates today; the from-price is what you lock in when you order, not a floating estimate.
WoW: Forever Gold (EU)Hand-farmed gold in EU WoW: Forever on your ruleset and faction, delivered by trade from launch from 11 EURGet it doneHow does delivery work in a realmless game?
In Forever nobody picks a server. You choose a region (US or EU) and a ruleset — Normal, PvP or Roleplaying, with Hardcore arriving after launch — and every ruleset is its own large ecosystem. That changes the checkout question from "which realm?" to "which region and which ruleset?". When you order, give your character's Full Name (Forever names are two-part, Main plus Secondary, unique per region), your faction and your ruleset, and the gold is handed over in-game the normal way once servers are up. Hardcore is an enclosed ruleset by design, so treat any Hardcore gold order as something to confirm with support first rather than assume.
Can I buy EU gold and use it on a US character?
No. Regions are separate economies with separate characters, and there is no transfer between them for gold, mail or trade. Ordering the cheaper EU card for a US character simply cannot be fulfilled. If you play on both regions, buy two cards. If you are not sure which region your Battle.net account will land on for Forever, check where your existing Classic or Modern characters sit — Forever uses the same regional split.
Is it worth buying Forever gold at launch?
Honest answer: only if your time is worth more than the gold. Forever adds mounts priced into riding training, 600+ new profession recipes and a Legacy system that rewards leveling many alts — all of which pull gold out of your bags early. A modest cushion on day one covers skills, bags and a mount without the week of farming. Buying a huge pile before the economy settles is a poorer deal, because launch-window pricing carries the launch-window premium described above.
If you would rather have the gold plus the grind handled together, PewPewShop's Season Starter Pack (Leveling + Gearing + Gold) starts from EUR 107 and the Gold + Leveling Combo from EUR 47.4, both run by vetted human players — no bots, no cheats, and a long zero-ban record. Forever orders are open as pre-orders until November 4; the gold ships from launch day, the leveling starts when the servers do.
