In WoW: Forever there are no realms — you pick a ruleset when you create the character, and a leveling boost is done on that ruleset. On Normal, world PvP only happens by mutual consent, so a 1–60 run is faster and more predictable. On PvP, the same route carries gank risk, so expect a longer, more cautious run. Hardcore boosts wait until Blizzard opens that ruleset after launch.

Rulesets in Forever and what they mean for a leveling order

RulesetWhat Blizzard confirmedEffect on a leveling boost
NormalPvP only by mutual consentCleanest 1–60. No contested zones to route around, so the 2–3 week estimate for a full run at launch is the realistic baseline.
PvPOpen world PvP; Horde/Alliance balance systems like Season of DiscoverySame quests, same dungeons, but corpse runs and faction pressure in the 30–60 zones add time. Ask for a run that leans on dungeons at the contested levels.
RoleplayingAnnounced as a ruleset; no further rules publishedPlayable for a boost, but the finer rules are not documented yet, so we treat it like Normal until Blizzard says otherwise.
HardcoreEnclosed ruleset, arrives after launch; a dead character can transfer to another rulesetNo pre-orders for Hardcore leveling until it is live and the rules are out. Progress flows out of Hardcore, nothing flows in.
  • Rulesets are separate ecosystems: no cross-ruleset grouping, factions stay apart. A pro can only play alongside your character if both are on the same ruleset and faction.
  • Collections and Legacy Points are account-wide across Normal, PvP and Roleplaying. Hardcore is the exception.
  • Level cap is 60 for good, no level scaling, no flying — every ruleset levels through the same zones, including the new Riverglades (30–45) and Zephras Isle (1–12 Skyborne start).
  • Blizzard's roadmap has Forever launching November 4, 2026, 3 p.m. Pacific, with name reservation October 27 – November 3.

Does a leveling boost on a PvP ruleset cost more than on Normal?

Our Forever leveling is priced by level bracket, not by ruleset: 1–30 from EUR 13, 30–45 (Riverglades) from EUR 15, 45–60 from EUR 18, or the full WoW: Forever Power Leveling 1–60 from EUR 25. You name the ruleset when you order and the booster plans the route for it.

What does change on PvP is time. A contested 40–60 stretch can add days to the ETA, and a dungeon-heavy plan — Forever Dungeon Leveling from EUR 40 — is the usual answer because instanced XP is not exposed to world PvP at all.

Can I switch rulesets after the boost is done?

Blizzard has confirmed one direction only: a Hardcore character that dies can transfer to another ruleset, PvP included. Whether a living Normal or PvP character can move between rulesets was not announced, so do not count on it. Pick the ruleset you actually want to play endgame on before the order starts.

The account-wide side is friendlier. Legacy Points earned on your Normal main still spend on a PvP alt (each character spends its own, up to 16 at launch, 65 earnable in total), and collected appearances follow you everywhere except into Hardcore.

Which ruleset should I choose for a launch-week leveling order?

If the goal is being 60 for the December 9 raid unlocks (Barrow Deeps, Hyjal Summit, Onyxia's Lair), Normal gets you there with the fewest surprises. If you want the faction war and the Darkspear Islands 15v15 battleground to matter from day one, order PvP and accept the wider ETA.

Undecided? Two characters is the honest fix — the Forever Alt Pack for two characters 1–60 is from EUR 240, one per ruleset, and the Legacy perks from the first make the second one cheaper to level anyway.

Is Hardcore leveling in Forever bookable now?

Not yet. Blizzard says Hardcore comes after the November 4 launch and has not published its rules. Once it is live we will list it separately, because an enclosed ruleset with permanent death needs its own pacing, and a pre-order made blind would be a guess.

PewPewShop takes Forever leveling pre-orders until launch day on Normal, PvP and Roleplaying: full 1–60 from EUR 25, brackets from EUR 13, dungeon leveling from EUR 40, plus Riding Skill and Mount from EUR 29 once you hit the training level. Every run is played by a vetted human on a long zero-ban record — Self-Play alongside a pro, or coaching if you would rather learn the new dungeons yourself. Tell us the ruleset and faction in the order and the booster starts the moment the ecosystems open.
