Blizzard has not published an official 1–60 time for WoW: Forever, but the rules are Classic rules — no level scaling, no flying, ordinary mobs dying in roughly 10–15 seconds solo — so expect a first character to take about 120–200 hours played, or 2–3 weeks of calendar time at a normal pace. That 2–3 week window is also what our leveling pros quote for a full 1–60 once the game launches on November 4, 2026.
Quick facts: what shapes WoW: Forever leveling speed
- Level cap: 60, permanently. New content arrives in patches, not expansions, so 1–60 is the whole climb.
- No scaling, no flying: zones have fixed level bands and you travel on foot or ground mount, exactly like Classic Era.
- Benchmark from Classic: a relaxed first run usually lands at 6–8 days played (about 150–200 hours); a tight, planned route with a familiar class lands closer to 4–5 days (100–120 hours). Forever's XP curve has not been announced as changed, so this is the honest baseline until Blizzard says otherwise.
- Beta is capped: the September 17 – October 21 beta caps at level 20, rising to 30 later — you cannot test a full 1–60 before launch.
- New leveling space: Zephras Isle (1–12, Skyborne only), the Riverglades (30–45, 150+ quests, Eastern Kingdoms) and 1,000+ new quests overall, which should soften the classic 30s–40s quest drought.
- New XP helpers: the Legacy perk Well Rested raises rested XP and the rested cap; Talented hands out talent points from level 9; crafted food gives a small XP bonus; sitting by a campfire grants rested.
- Riding: mount cost moves into riding training (Burning Crusade style), so budget gold for the skill, not the mount.
Rough time by bracket (Classic-pace estimate, not an official figure)
| Levels | Approx. hours played | Notes |
| 1–20 | 12–18 | Starter zones or Zephras Isle; Hall of Thanes (13–18) and Ruins of Lordaeron (15–20) are the first new dungeons |
| 20–30 | 20–30 | City of Dalaran dungeon opens at 20 |
| 30–45 | 35–50 | The Riverglades is built for exactly this band |
| 45–60 | 50–80 | Slowest stretch; Alcaz Prison, Shaper's Terrace and Krol'dok Stronghold cover the 40–60 dungeon range |
Does the Legacy system make alts faster?
Yes, that is its whole purpose. Legacy Challenges (leveling a class, hitting tradeskill milestones, clearing dungeons) award points you spend in account-wide trees. Well Rested and its bigger rested cap are the direct leveling perks; Talented gives you talent points at level 9 instead of 10, which matters more than it sounds on a first-week character.
Points are shared across all your characters, but each one spends them separately — up to 16 per character at launch, with up to 65 earnable. So your second and third characters start with perks your first one had to grind for.
Is dungeon leveling faster than questing in Forever?
In Classic it was competitive from the mid-20s on, and Forever ships nine new dungeons spread across the whole 13–60 range, so the option is stronger than ever. The trade-off is unchanged: dungeons need a group of five and a tank who knows Threat, while questing runs whenever you are online. Most fast leveling mixes both — quest solo, then chain a dungeon when a group forms nearby.
Can I level 1–60 in the beta?
No. The beta cap opens at 20 and rises to 30. Full 1–60 leveling only becomes possible on November 4, 2026 at 3 p.m. Pacific, when Forever launches worldwide for anyone with an active subscription or Game Time.
Which class levels fastest in WoW: Forever?
Blizzard has only published Paladin details (Holy Strike at 6, Consecration baseline at 20, Seals no longer consumed by Judgment), and it says every class and spec is revamped, so the old Classic tier list is not a safe guide yet. What we can say: the new Dwarf Shaman and Forsaken Paladin combos exist, all Skyborne can play Hunter, and Hunters and Warlocks historically led the solo pace because pets soak damage while you keep moving. Treat class rankings as unknown until the changes are tested at 60.
If two to three weeks of played time is more than your calendar allows, PewPewShop's vetted human players can handle the climb: WoW: Forever Power Leveling 1–60 starts from EUR 25, with segments like Leveling 1–30 from EUR 13 and Leveling 45–60 from EUR 18, or Forever Dungeon Leveling from EUR 40. Launch leveling is queued today for November 4, and our pros quote 2–3 weeks for a full 1–60 — no bots, no cheats, and a long zero-ban record.
