Which raid drops tier tokens in WoW: Forever?
Blizzard has said raids drop Tier Tokens, but it has not named which raids or which bosses. Three level 60 raids are planned to open together on December 9, 2026, so treat any boss-by-boss drop list as unconfirmed for now.

Can you finish a tier token quest solo?
No. Blizzard said players will not be able to complete these quests completely on their own, because some steps need group content.
That wording leaves room for solo steps too, but the split is unknown. The group content could be a dungeon, a raid or something else, since Blizzard has not said. A reliable group matters more here than a solo-friendly class or spec.

Blizzard's stated answer is that a token can go to you or any ally. It has not explained the loot details, so nobody can yet say whether a token drops per player, passes through a loot roll or moves between players after it drops.
Agree on loot rules before the first pull. Remember that GDKP raids are banned on North American and European Forever, so a gold auction is not an option for those tokens.
Are dungeon sets and Tier 0 the same as raid tier sets?
No. The token and quest system Blizzard described applies to raid tier, while dungeon, Black Market and PvP sets come from other sources.
- Dungeon sets: beta files showed Defias Enforcer's Garb, Violet Sorcerer's Vestments and Krol'dok Battlegear, per Wowhead. Their drop sources are unknown.
- Black Market gear: on the beta, Madam Swyndle at Powderfuse Port in the Riverglades auctioned gear going for 100 gold or more, mostly a changed version of Classic Dungeon Set 1, or "Tier 0", per Wowhead.
- PvP sets: Honor buys a blue set and an epic set. Each epic piece needs its blue piece plus an Emboldened Seal, and seals have rank requirements.
How should you prepare for tier sets before December 9?
Reach level 60, finish your attunement work and line up a steady group. Those are the only sensible preparation steps while the token quests remain unannounced.
- Hit level 60 on the character you plan to raid with.
- Start the Onyxia attunement if your group plans a 40-player raid. Alliance begin with "Dragonkin Menace" from Helendis Riverhorn in the Burning Steppes. Horde begin with "Blood and Thunder" from Warlord Goretooth in Kargath, Badlands.
- Build fire resistance for Onyxia, as Blizzard advises in its raid overview.
- Find a regular group on your ruleset, because token quests include group content.
