Midnight renown rewards are unlocked level by level on each faction's Renown track, and the complete list lives in the game itself — open your Reputation pane, select a Midnight faction, and view its Renown track to see every reward at every level. Expect transmog, mounts, pets, recipes, profession knowledge, currency and decor. Renown is Warband-wide, so alts inherit your progress.

That in-game track is the answer I'd give any guildmate, and it's deliberate advice rather than a dodge. Blizzard adds factions, re-tunes tracks and slots new items in with almost every patch, so a hand-copied reward list goes stale within weeks. The Renown panel never does — it shows every level you've earned, every level ahead of you, and the exact item attached to each one.

Renown rewards: the quick facts

  • Where to look: Character panel → Reputation → click a Midnight faction → its Renown track. Hover any level to see the reward.
  • What repeats every expansion: transmog sets and weapon appearances, mounts, battle pets, toys, tabards and titles, crafting recipes, profession knowledge, campaign and story chapters, and consumables or currency that speed up gearing.
  • Account-wide: renown has been Warband-shared since Dragonflight. Level a faction on your main and every alt starts from that level.
  • Nothing is missable: renown only goes up — it can't be lost, and rewards you skipped stay claimable from the faction's renown interface or quartermaster.
  • Weekly-capped in practice: the biggest chunks come from weekly quests and repeatable events, so renown is a marathon of consistent weeks, not a single grind session.

How do you level Midnight renown fast?

Clear the weekly quest for each faction first — in recent expansions those single turn-ins have been worth more than hours of world quests. After that, prioritise repeatable outdoor content: world quests, seasonal events, delve events and any zone activity that awards faction-flagged rep. First-time quest completions in a zone are also huge, so finishing the campaign and side stories on one character is the fastest opening move.

Second lever: rep-item turn-ins. Most expansions ship a consumable or contract that grants a lump of reputation, often tradeable on the auction house. Buying and banking those, then dumping them after a reset, is the closest thing to a shortcut that exists.

Is Midnight renown shared across characters?

Yes. Renown is tracked at the Warband (account) level, so an alt logging in for the first time already sits at your highest earned level with the rewards unlocked. You still have to physically collect anything that requires a vendor purchase, and gold or currency costs still apply per purchase.

Which renown rewards are actually worth chasing?

Rank them by what you can't get elsewhere: mounts and unique transmog are exclusive and permanent; profession knowledge is time-gated and directly worth gold; upgrade currency and gearing consumables matter most in the first month of a season and lose value after. Pets and toys are pure collection. If your play time is limited, push one faction to the mount and knowledge breakpoints before spreading yourself across all of them.

Can you catch up on renown later in the season?

Yes — catch-up is a standard part of the design. Later patches raise gains, add bonus events and stack repeatable sources, so a faction that took six weeks at launch takes far less mid-season. The trade-off is that the gear and currency rewards on the track are worth less by then; the collectibles are worth exactly the same.
