Siren Isle is max-level catch-up content, not an XP zone, so "power leveling" here means farming item level and zone progress rather than character levels. Hit 80 first, finish the intro chain, then loop the island's public events, daily objectives and weekly quest. One focused week of that pulls a fresh 80 up to Heroic-dungeon-ready gear.
- Reach level 80 elsewhere. Siren Isle does not exist to level you. Dungeon spam, the expansion campaign or questing gets you to cap far faster.
- Pick up the intro questline from your capital's adventure board or the expansion's mission table hub. It ships you to the island and unlocks the daily loop.
- Run the zone-wide public event every time it is up. This is the single biggest reward chunk per hour: gear, upgrade currency and zone progress in one go.
- Clear the daily objectives on the way to and from the event. They stack with whatever you are already killing, so never do them as a separate trip.
- Do the weekly quest before reset. It is the largest guaranteed drop of the week and the main reason a two-week catch-up beats a two-day one.
- Spend at the quartermaster. Turn currency into missing slots first, then upgrades. Empty slots cost you more item level than one extra rank on a piece you already wear.
- Leave once it plateaus. Event-zone gear is a floor, not a ceiling. The moment Heroic dungeons stop being a risk, move to Mythic+ and the weekly vault.
Does Siren Isle give XP for leveling 1-80?
No. Everything on the island is tuned for characters already at cap, and the rewards are item level and zone reputation rather than experience. If you want a character levelled, that happens through dungeon runs, the campaign or heirloom-boosted questing.
The confusion comes from the phrase itself. "Power leveling" in retail WoW now covers two different jobs: raising a character to 80, and raising a capped character's item level. Siren Isle only does the second one.
How long does the catch-up actually take?
Expect one solid session to unlock everything and get your first handful of slots filled, then diminishing returns until the next weekly reset. The zone is deliberately paced around weeklies, so the realistic curve is meaningful gains in week one, smaller top-ups after that.
Playing three evenings a week gets you nearly the same result as playing every night. The events and dailies repeat, but the big rewards are capped.
Is event-zone gear good enough for Mythic+?
It is enough to walk into Heroic dungeons and the lowest Mythic+ keys without being a liability. It is not raid-tier gear, and it will not carry you into high keys on its own.
Treat it as the ramp: catch-up gear gets you through the door, then crests, vault rewards and dungeon drops do the rest of the climb.
What order should a fresh 80 do things in?
Campaign or dungeons to 80, then the event zone for a base set, then Heroic dungeons, then Mythic+ for crests and the weekly vault. Skipping the event-zone step is common and usually a mistake, because it is the cheapest item level in the game for a character with empty slots.
If you would rather not grind the loop yourself, PewPewShop handles the boring part with vetted human players and a long clean record: a Catch-Up Gear Package from EUR 28, Power Leveling from EUR 18.4, or Gearing to a target item level from EUR 49.5. Plenty of players also just book an hour of coaching to learn the fastest route and then run it themselves.
