Battleground Blitz has no artifact appearance of its own — the weapon skin people mean is the Legion PvP (Prestige) artifact tint, unlocked through Honor Level and rated battleground wins. Blitz is a rated 8v8 queue, so the real question is whether its wins tick that counter; the definitive check is the tint's tooltip under Collections → Appearances, which shows your live win progress.

- What it is: every Legion artifact weapon has a PvP skin (originally called the Prestige appearance) with four colour tints. It is still collectable today and applies to any weapon of that type through transmog.
- Base tint: reach the required Honor Level. Honor Level is account-wide and climbs from any PvP you play, including Blitz.
- Later tints: batches of rated battleground wins at rising Honor Levels, with the final tint tied to winning at 2000+ rating.

How to work toward the PvP artifact tint today
- Open the Appearances tab and hover the PvP tint on the Legion artifact for your class. Note whether it wants Honor Level, rated wins, or a rating threshold.
- Push Honor Level first. Random battlegrounds, Blitz, brawls and Solo Shuffle all pay honor, and the level never resets.
- Queue rated. If the tooltip's win counter moves after a Blitz victory, you are set; if it stays put, that tint is still counting classic 10v10 Rated Battlegrounds only, and you need a group for those.
- For the top tint, you need wins while sitting at 2000 or higher — a rating goal, not just a grind.
Does Battleground Blitz count as a rated battleground?
Mechanically yes: it uses rating, MMR, seasonal rewards and rated gear tracks. Blizzard has been folding Blitz into rewards that once belonged only to 10v10 Rated Battlegrounds, which is why this query exists. The safe assumption is not "yes" or "no" but "check the tooltip" — that is the one source that cannot be out of date, because it reads your own character's progress.
Does Blitz have its own cosmetic rewards?
Yes, but they are not artifact skins. Blitz rating feeds the same seasonal rewards as other rated brackets: Elite PvP gear appearances once you clear the rating thresholds, Vicious mount progress from rated wins, and end-of-season achievements. If what you actually want is a weapon look, the Elite weapon enchant and Elite set from this season's rated tracks are the current-content equivalents.
Can I still get Legion artifact appearances at all?
Most of them, yes. The PvP tint, dungeon, achievement and hidden appearances remain obtainable; the only ones gone for good are the Mage Tower challenge skins from Legion (the modern Mage Tower awards different recolours) and a couple of tints removed with the Legion Timewalking-era changes. Being max level with strong gear makes the old solo requirements trivial — the only real time sink is the rated-win portion.
What does the PvP artifact tint look like?
Each class-and-spec weapon has a faction-flavoured, battle-worn recolour — think weathered metal, glowing honor-red or alliance-blue accents. It is the same base model as your Legion artifact, so it pairs with any transmog set from that era, and being a weapon appearance it is not restricted to PvP use once unlocked.
