What drives the price
- Raid size. A 40-player Classic raid needs a far bigger roster than a 10-player Karazhan group, but Karazhan is run weekly per character and priced as a complete clear rather than a partial one.
- Loot rules. Reserved items — where specific drops are set aside for you — cost more than an open-roll spot where you take your chances with the rest of the raid.
- Attunement status. Several TBC raids gate entry behind a quest chain. If you are not attuned, that is a separate job, priced from EUR 20.
- Gold on hand. Consumables, enchants and repairs for a serious Classic raid tier add up. TBC Classic gold starts from EUR 21.
- Server and faction. Thin realms mean fewer available runs, and that shows up in scheduling more than in price.
Which Classic Era raids are still worth boosting?
The ones with lasting rewards. Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj is a common entry point — short, cheap relative to the 40-player tiers, and it drops usable gear for characters still gearing up. Classic world bosses are the other steady seller, because their drops and the kill itself are things you cannot farm on demand.
Vanilla dungeon-level content is not really a carry market any more. If you are looking at a raid nobody advertises, that usually means the reward stopped being worth the roster time, not that the run is impossible.
Do I need to be attuned before a TBC raid carry?
For attunement-gated raids, yes — you cannot zone in without it, so the attunement has to be done first either way. That is why it is sold separately, from EUR 20, rather than bundled into every clear.
Karazhan's chain in particular is long and crosses several dungeons. Plenty of players buy the attunement, then decide later whether they want the full clear from EUR 428.99 or to run it with a guild.
How long does a Classic Era raid boost take?
Most single-raid clears are scheduled as one session, not spread over days. The variable is not the run itself but the calendar: raids need a full group assembled at a time that works for both sides, so a slot on a busy realm may be a day or two out.
Attunement chains take longer because they involve questing and dungeon runs across multiple zones rather than one instance.
Is buying a Classic raid carry worth it?
It depends on what your bottleneck is. If you cannot find a raiding guild whose schedule fits yours, a carry buys you the loot and the progress your playtime cannot reach. If you already raid weekly with friends, you are paying for something you will get anyway.
The honest cases for it are catch-up gearing after a break, a specific reserved drop you have chased for weeks, and attunements you do not want to grind twice on an alt.
