Classic Plus servers are the realms for World of Warcraft: Forever, Blizzard's third WoW experience announced at BlizzCon on September 12, 2026 and launching worldwide on November 4, 2026 at 3 p.m. Pacific. Blizzard has not published a realm list, realm types or regions yet. What is confirmed is the launch date, a beta running September 17 to October 21, and Early Name Reservation opening October 27.

One thing to plan for right now: character names in Forever are a Full Name made of a Main Name plus a Secondary Name. Both must be picked, and whether the secondary part shows is a settings toggle. If you want a short, clean main name, the October 27 window is where that fight happens.

Is there a WoW: Forever server list yet?

No. As of September 13, 2026, Blizzard has not published realm names, realm types (PvE, PvP, RP) or which regions get which realms. Anything you see labelled a "Forever server list" is speculation. Blizzard opened an official WoW: Forever forum category on September 12, and realm details will most likely appear there and in the Battle.net launcher before name reservation opens on October 27.

Also unknown: whether Hardcore realms exist at launch (Hardcore is confirmed as coming, rules unpublished) and what happens to existing Classic Era, Anniversary or Season of Discovery realms. Don't assume characters carry over between game versions — Blizzard has said nothing about that.

Do I need to buy anything to play on Classic Plus servers?

Not to play. Forever is included with a regular subscription or Game Time. The paid packs unlock extras: the Skyborne Heroic Pack (€29.99 on the EU Battle.net shop) gives the Skyborne race, the Zephras Isle starting zone, name reservation, the Cerulean Prideclaw ground mount and one Invite-A-Friend code. The Epic Pack adds beta access, 30 days of game time from November 4 and three invite codes. The Warcraft Forever Collection adds Warcraft III: Reforged with the Forsaken Kingdom campaign and is sold only until January 11, 2027. Note the Skyborne race itself requires the Heroic Pack or higher.

Invite codes are emailed from October 20 and let a friend play November 4–11 without a subscription — a cheap way to get your guild's stragglers onto the same realm for launch week.

What is actually different from Classic on these realms?

Same 1–60 world with a lot bolted on. New zones: Zephras Isle (Skyborne start, 1–12), the Riverglades (Eastern Kingdoms, 30–45, 150+ quests, a neutral goblin port) and Mount Hyjal as an endgame zone. Nine new dungeons, including Hall of Thanes under Ironforge, Ruins of Lordaeron, City of Dalaran, Drowned City off Stranglethorn and three 40–60 instances: Alcaz Prison, Shaper's Terrace and Krol'dok Stronghold. Every original dungeon returns too.

Systems-wise: no flying, no level scaling, opt-in transmog, toggleable HD/SD graphics, gamepad support, a Camping system with shared campsites, and account-wide Legacy perks earned by completing challenges across alts. Every class and spec is revamped, Forsaken Paladins and Dwarf Shamans are new combos, and PvP adds The Darkspear Islands, a 15v15 battleground. The class roster stays the original nine — no new class at launch.

When do Forever raids open?

December 9, 2026, roughly five weeks after launch. Barrow Deeps is a 10-player max-level challenge with three entrances (one in Mount Hyjal); Hyjal Summit is 20-player; Onyxia's Lair returns at 40. Whether Molten Core or Blackwing Lair are available at launch has not been stated. Spring 2027 brings two more raids and two dungeons per the roadmap.

If you'd rather spend launch month in dungeons than grinding to 60 alone, PewPewShop takes Forever pre-orders until November 4: play-together leveling with a vetted human pro from EUR 13 (1–30) or a Launch-Ready Pack with 1–60, pre-raid gear and 500g from EUR 219, plus Drowned City and Excavation Site runs from EUR 16. Boosters quote 2–3 weeks for a full 1–60 at launch, and raid help opens December 9. No bots, no shortcuts, just experienced players who've done this launch dance before.
