Yes — the Skyborne Epic Pack includes 30 days of World of Warcraft game time, and that month starts on November 4, 2026, the day Forever goes live at 3 p.m. Pacific. The cheaper Skyborne Heroic Pack (€29.99 in the EU) includes no game time at all. The Warcraft Forever Collection contains everything in the Epic Pack, so it carries the same 30 days.
Forever itself is not a separate purchase. It is included with an active WoW subscription or Game Time, the same as Modern and Classic. The packs are upgrades: race, mount, cosmetics, beta access, name reservation, invite codes — and, at the Epic tier and above, that first month.
Beta progress is temporary: beta gold is wiped on October 21. Launch gold has its own card. Launch gold (from November 4) · All Forever services
Game time by edition
| Edition | Game time | Beta access | Invite codes |
| Skyborne Heroic Pack | None | No | 1 |
| Skyborne Epic Pack | 30 days from Nov 4 | Yes, instant | 3 |
| Warcraft Forever Collection | 30 days from Nov 4 | Yes, instant | 3 |
A few specifics worth knowing before you buy:
- The 30 days are tied to the November 4 launch date, not to your purchase date. Buying in September does not start the clock early.
- Beta access is separate from game time. Epic Pack and Collection buyers get into the beta immediately — it has been running since September 17 and closes October 21 — without needing a subscription month.
- Early Name Reservation runs October 27 – November 3 and comes with any upgrade pack, including Heroic. Up to three characters, first come first served.
- Invite-A-Friend launch codes go out from October 20. An invited friend plays November 4–11 with no subscription of their own.
- The Warcraft Forever Collection is only sold until January 11, 2027.
Do I still need a subscription if I buy the Epic Pack?
Not for the first month of retail Forever. The 30 days cover you from November 4. After that month runs out you need an active subscription or Game Time to keep playing, exactly like any other version of WoW.
If you already pay monthly, the 30 days stack onto your account rather than being wasted — game time is game time.
Does the Heroic Pack include any game time?
No. The Heroic Pack gives you the Skyborne race and the Zephras Isle 1–12 start, name reservation, the Cerulean Prideclaw ground mount, cosmetics and one invite code. Playing at launch still requires your own subscription or Game Time.
It is also the minimum tier for the Skyborne race itself — there is no way to play a Windshaper or High Order elf without at least the Heroic Pack.
Can I use the 30 days on retail or Classic instead?
Game time on a WoW account is shared across the game versions, so a month of it is a month of access — Forever, Modern and Classic all draw from the same subscription. Blizzard has not published anything that carves the Epic Pack month out as Forever-only.
What do I actually get on November 4?
Three new zones (Zephras Isle, the Riverglades, Mount Hyjal), 1,000+ new quests, nine new dungeons and the Skyborne race. Raids come later — Barrow Deeps, Hyjal Summit and a 40-player Onyxia's Lair all unlock together on December 9, per Blizzard's roadmap.
Forever is realmless. You pick a ruleset — Normal, PvP or Roleplaying, with Hardcore arriving after launch — not a server.
If your 30 days are ticking and you would rather spend them at 60 than grinding to it, PewPewShop's vetted pros handle Forever progression by playing alongside you: beta leveling from EUR 13, launch leveling 45–60 from EUR 18, dungeon runs from EUR 12. Our boosters quote 2–3 weeks for a full 1–60 at launch, so launch-day coaching slots are worth claiming early.
