Hellfire Ramparts has five quests in TBC Anniversary: Weaken the Ramparts and Dark Tidings, with separate Alliance and Horde versions of each, plus the level-70 Wanted: Nazan's Riding Crop for both factions. Pick up Weaken the Ramparts in Hellfire Peninsula before you zone in. Dark Tidings starts from the Ominous Letter, which drops inside the dungeon.

Quick facts
- Bosses you need: Watchkeeper Gargolmar, Omor the Unscarred and the drake Nazan. Weaken the Ramparts asks for one item from each.
- Earliest you can take the quests: level 59. The leveling quests are level 62.
- Pick up first: only Weaken the Ramparts has to be taken from an NPC before your run. Dark Tidings starts from a dropped letter.
- Reputation: Normal Ramparts gives Honor Hold or Thrallmar reputation only until Honored. Heroic gives it all the way to Exalted.
What do you have to do for Weaken the Ramparts?
Kill all three bosses and bring back Gargolmar's Hand, Omor's Hoof and Nazan's Head. Alliance players get the quest from Lieutenant Chadwick and turn it in to Gunny at Honor Hold. Horde players get it from Stone Guard Stok'ton and turn it in to Caza'rez at Thrallmar. If you clear the whole dungeon, it finishes on its own.
How do you start Dark Tidings?
The Ominous Letter drops inside Ramparts. Right-click it to start the quest, then take it to Force Commander Danath Trollbane at Honor Hold (Alliance) or Nazgrel at Thrallmar (Horde). It's a delivery quest, so you don't have to kill anything else. Just don't vendor the letter by accident.
What is Wanted: Nazan's Riding Crop?
It's a level-70 bounty from Wind Trader Zhareem in Shattrath's Lower City, and both factions can take it. Get Nazan's Riding Crop and bring it back to him for the reward. You can't take it before level 70, so it's for when you come back to Ramparts at max level, not for your first run while leveling.
Is Hellfire Ramparts worth running for quests and reputation?
At level 59–62, yes. Two quests for one short dungeon is good experience, and you're already questing near both turn-in NPCs at Honor Hold or Thrallmar. Normal-mode reputation stops at Honored, so once you're past that, run Heroic. The Hellfire Citadel Heroic key is sold at Revered.
