Keystone Master in Midnight is a seasonal achievement earned by reaching 2000 Mythic+ rating during Midnight Season One. You build that rating by completing seasonal dungeons inside the timer, roughly at key level +10, pushing a few runs higher to make up for weaker ones. It is season-locked: once Season One closes, the achievement can no longer be earned.

Keystone Master in Midnight at a glance

  • Requirement: 2000 Mythic+ rating in the current season. Blizzard has kept the Keystone Master line at 2000 every season since Shadowlands; if Midnight shifts it, the in-game achievement text is the authority.
  • Scope: seasonal. The achievement is named for Midnight Season One and stops being obtainable when the season ends.
  • What counts: your best scoring runs in each seasonal dungeon. Rating is per dungeon, then summed, so one bad dungeon drags the whole total.
  • Timer matters: an untimed clear still awards some score, but far less than a timed one. Deaths eat your timer, so wipes cost rating indirectly.
  • Next tier: the higher Keystone Hero title sits at 2500 rating in recent seasons, for players who want to keep pushing after 2000.

The fastest route to 2000

  1. Gear to a comfortable item level first. Most of the difficulty at this level is survivability, not mechanics knowledge.
  2. Clear every seasonal dungeon once at a low key to learn routes and boss timings before your score runs start.
  3. Get one timed run banked in each dungeon. A full set of low keys gives you a rating floor and shows which dungeons you actually struggle in.
  4. Raise every dungeon toward +10. Even coverage beats one high key: eight solid runs are worth far more than a single hero clear plus seven blanks.
  5. Re-run your weakest dungeons a level or two higher. Replacing your worst score is always the cheapest rating you will ever gain.
  6. Do your keys weekly for the vault. Loot from your Great Vault feeds the next round of pushing.

What key level do I need to time for Keystone Master?

Around +10 across the full dungeon pool, with a handful of +11 or +12 clears to top up. Exact per-run values shift between seasons, so treat +10 as the working target and check your rating after each round of runs rather than counting on a fixed number.

What do you get for Keystone Master in Midnight?

The achievement itself plus the season reward attached to it, historically a mount or a seasonal recolor that stops being available when the season ends. Dungeon teleports have recently come from separate per-dungeon achievements for timing each dungeon at +10, so chasing Keystone Master usually earns those along the way.

Can I still get Keystone Master after Midnight Season One ends?

No. Seasonal Keystone Master achievements convert to Feats of Strength when the season closes and cannot be earned afterwards. If you want it, the deadline is the end of Season One, not the end of the expansion.

Do depleted or untimed keys still help?

Yes, a little. An over-time completion still awards rating, just much less than a timed clear, and your key drops a level. That makes untimed runs useful for gear and vault progress but a slow way to reach 2000. Timing keys, even one level lower than you would like, is the faster path.
