A Keystone Hero calculator adds up your best timed run in each of the season's eight Mythic+ dungeons and tells you which keys you still need to reach 2,500 Mythic+ rating, the Keystone Hero milestone. Blizzard does not ship one, and the math is easy by hand: eight timed +10 keys score about 2,560, so Keystone Hero is roughly a full set of +10s, with a little room to trade a +9 for a +11.

  • Your rating is the sum of your best run in each of the eight dungeons, per character. Repeating the same dungeon at the same level adds nothing.
  • Each level is worth 15 points more than the one below it, with a double step at +5, +7, +10 and +12, where a new affix kicks in. That is why +10 is such a big jump.
  • Timing bonus: finishing with time to spare adds up to 15 extra points, scaled to how much of the timer is left, capped at 40% remaining.
  • A depleted (over-time) key still scores, but it is capped below the timed value and drops to zero once you are more than 40% over the timer.
  • These are the current season's values. Blizzard retunes the table between seasons, so re-check it on a fresh character each season.

How to calculate it yourself in four steps

  1. Open the Mythic+ tab in the Group Finder (or your Raider.IO profile) and write down the best timed level for each of the eight dungeons. Untimed dungeons count as zero for planning purposes.
  2. Convert each level to points using the table, then add the timing bonus if you finished with spare time.
  3. Add the eight numbers and subtract the total from 2,500. That gap is what the "calculator" is really telling you.
  4. Close the gap by raising your lowest dungeon first. Turning an untimed dungeon into a timed +10 is worth 320 points; pushing a +12 to a +13 is worth 15. The weakest slot is always the cheapest fix.

What rating do you need for Keystone Hero?

2,500 Mythic+ rating on one character. The seasonal ladder currently sits at Keystone Conqueror 1,500, Keystone Master 2,000, Keystone Hero 2,500, Keystone Legend 3,000 and Keystone Myth 3,400.

Do not confuse the 2,500 achievement with the top 0.1% seasonal title. That one is ranking-based, its cutoff floats well above 3,000 and climbs all season, and no fixed-score calculator can promise it.

Does Keystone Hero give you dungeon portals?

No. Portals come from the per-dungeon achievement, Keystone Hero: (Dungeon Name), which you earn by timing that specific dungeon at +10. Hitting 2,500 rating with a +13 in one dungeon and an untimed +8 in another still leaves you without the second dungeon's teleport. If portals are the goal, plan for eight timed +10s regardless of what the total says.

How many runs from Keystone Master to Keystone Hero?

The gap is 500 points. A character sitting at exactly 2,000 with timed +7s everywhere needs each dungeon raised from 260 to 320 points, which is eight timed +10 runs. Most players are not that even: two or three dungeons are already at +10 or +11 and one is dragging at +6. Fix the +6 first; it alone can be worth 60 to 90 points.

Does the same math work for Keystone Master and Legend?

Yes, only the target changes. Keystone Master (2,000) is eight timed +7s or a mix that averages 250 per dungeon; Keystone Legend (3,000) needs an average of 375, which means timed +12s with a healthy timing bonus or straight +13s. Both mounts, Breath of Blight and Breath of Ruin, are tied to those totals.

If you would rather play the runs alongside vetted human players than grind pugs to fill the gaps, PewPewShop's Mythic+ team runs Self-Play timed +10 keys from EUR 19.98 per dungeon, a full Keystone Master push from EUR 139.99, and Keystone Legend progression from EUR 489.99. Every run is done by hand, no bots, and the price covers exactly the dungeons your calculator says you are missing.
