Yes — Human Hunter is one of six new race/class combinations coming to World of Warcraft: Forever, launching November 4, 2026. Humans have never been able to play Hunter in Classic before. Blizzard confirmed the combo at BlizzCon on September 12, 2026, alongside Gnome Priest, Dwarf Shaman, Orc Mage, Troll Warlock and Undead Paladin; Human racials for Forever have not been detailed yet.
Human Hunter in Forever: quick facts
- Status: officially announced at BlizzCon 2026 as one of six new race/class combos; Blizzard said more combos are planned.
- Faction: Alliance. In Forever you do not pick a server — you pick a ruleset (Normal, PvP, Roleplaying, and Hardcore after launch).
- Playable from: November 4, 2026, 3 p.m. Pacific, worldwide. Included with an active subscription or Game Time — no extra purchase needed for the combo itself.
- Level cap: 60, permanently. New content arrives in patches, not expansions.
- Beta: September 17 – October 21, 2026, capped at level 30, with the Skyborne Epic Pack or the Warcraft Forever Collection.
- Name reservation: October 27 – November 3, up to three characters, with any upgrade pack. Names are two-part (main name plus a secondary name).
- Racials: every race gets two active and two passive racials in Forever. Blizzard has published changed racials for Dwarves, Undead, Tauren, Orcs and Gnomes — but not for Humans yet, so treat the Human kit as unconfirmed until Blizzard posts it.
- Hunter class changes: not published. Blizzard says every class and spec is revamped and filler talents like +1–2% are going away, but Paladin is the only class with a detailed reveal so far.
What are Human racials in WoW: Forever?
Not confirmed yet. In original Classic, Humans are known for a reputation bonus, a stealth-detection ability, and weapon-skill perks for swords and maces — none of which matter much to a ranged class. Forever reworks weapon-skill items and folds hit and crit into single stats, so it would be surprising if the Human kit came over unchanged, but Blizzard has not shown it.
What we can say: the Dwarf rework (Stoneform now cuts Physical damage, Mace Specialization became crit chance, plus a new Big Game Hunter passive for damage against Beasts) shows the direction — flat, useful bonuses instead of niche ones. Expect Human racials to follow the same philosophy, and check the live Q&A on September 17 for the first real details.
Which races can be Hunters in WoW: Forever?
Forever keeps the Classic roster of nine classes and adds one race, the Skyborne, who are available as Hunters on both factions. The full Hunter list at launch:
| Alliance | Human (new), Dwarf, Night Elf, Skyborne High Order |
| Horde | Orc, Tauren, Troll, Skyborne Windshaper |
Skyborne need the Skyborne Heroic Pack (€29.99 on the EU Battle.net shop) or higher and start on Zephras Isle, a 1–12 floating-island zone. Their racials include Walk on Air (a 10-second glide), Wind Blessed (+1% haste) and Elemental Insight (+5% damage to Elementals); the Horde variant adds +10% run speed, the Alliance variant adds +100% health and mana regeneration. Dwarves have the only racial explicitly aimed at Hunters so far: Big Game Hunter, extra damage against Beasts.
Is Human Hunter the same as "Classic Plus" Human Hunter?
Yes. "Classic Plus" and "Classic+" are community shorthand for WoW: Forever — Blizzard's third World of Warcraft experience next to Modern and Classic, built by the Classic team and set in the game's first year. The Human Hunter people have asked about for years is exactly this combo. Earlier leaks and rumor lists are not sources; only what Blizzard published at BlizzCon counts.
Should I roll a Human Hunter at launch or wait for racial details?
If you want the combo for its own sake — the fantasy of a Stormwind ranger with a pet — roll it. Leveling in Forever has no level scaling, so the trip to 60 is a classic-style grind, and boosters who ran the beta build quote roughly two to three weeks for a full 1–60 at launch. If min-maxing is the point, wait for the racial reveal: the difference between race choices in Classic Hunter play was always small, and the Skyborne haste bonus or the Dwarf Beast bonus may end up mattering more than anything Humans get.
Either way, Legacy points earned on your first character are account-wide, so a Human Hunter main does not lock you out of rerolling later with perks like extra rested XP already unlocked.
If you would rather skip the leveling grind and enjoy the character at 60, PewPewShop offers WoW: Forever leveling as a pre-order until launch: a full 1–60 from EUR 25, a 1–30 start from EUR 13, or dungeon-based leveling from EUR 40, all played by vetted human players with a long zero-ban record.
