In WoW: Forever, Mor'ladim's Duskwood quest also rewards the Ladimore Heirloom Ring, a new option built for casters. Blizzard named it in the Deep Dive panel recap of September 13, 2026 as one example of expanded quest rewards across the game. The ring's stats, item level and required level have not been published. Forever launches November 4, 2026.

Why this matters: in the original game, Mor'ladim's reward table gave melee and physical classes the obvious pick while casters often shrugged and vendored theirs. Blizzard's stated goal in Forever is that quest rewards should have a real option for every role, and the Ladimore ring is the example they chose to show that.
Skyborne Start: Zephras Isle 1–12The new Skyborne starting experience completed on your character.from 15 EURGet it doneHow to get the ring
- Level into the low-to-mid 20s and head to Duskwood (Darkshire for Alliance; Horde can reach the zone through Stranglethorn or Redridge).
- Pick up the Raven Hill Cemetery storyline that leads to Mor'ladim, the elite skeleton who patrols the graveyard.
- Mor'ladim is an elite and hits hard for his level. Bring a group of three to five, or come back a few levels later if you insist on soloing.
- Turn in the quest and choose the Ladimore Heirloom Ring from the reward list if you play a caster.
One caveat: Blizzard has only confirmed that the ring exists as a Mor'ladim reward. Whether the quest chain itself changed, which step awards the ring, and the ring's level requirement are all unknown until beta data or the launch build shows them. The bullet points above describe the chain as it worked in the original game; treat the sequence as a guide, not a spoiler.
What are the Ladimore Heirloom Ring's stats?
Unknown. Blizzard only said the ring is a caster reward. Given Forever's new itemization rules, a caster ring would most likely carry spell damage and healing (caster items now grant both, with bonus healing including one third as much damage) and could carry the unified hit or crit stat. That is inference from the published rules, not a datamined tooltip.
Is 'Ladimore' the same as 'Mor'ladim'?
Yes, that is the point of the name. Mor'ladim is the undead form of Morgan Ladimore, the paladin buried at Raven Hill whose story runs through Duskwood's quest lines. An 'heirloom' ring tied to the Ladimore family fits the lore. Note that 'heirloom' here does not mean a Modern-WoW account-bound heirloom that scales with level; nothing Blizzard has published suggests Forever has that system.
What else changes about Forever quest rewards?
Blizzard says quest rewards are being expanded game-wide so more classes get a useful pick. The second published example is Nesingwary's Stranglethorn Vale hunting quests, which add the Master Hunter's Spellsword. Beyond that, the whole loot pass touches dungeons too: hundreds of new drops, every dungeon drop re-examined, unique dungeon boss items raised to Rare (blue) quality, and improved world-drop epics.
Does Duskwood itself change in WoW: Forever?
Nothing specific about Duskwood beyond the Mor'ladim reward has been announced. The three new zones are Zephras Isle (1–12), the Riverglades (30–45) and Mount Hyjal (endgame). Duskwood remains the same 18–30-ish stop between Westfall/Redridge and Stranglethorn, and the ring is a reason for casters to finish the Raven Hill chain instead of skipping it.
