Yes — Troll Warlock is one of six new race and class combinations confirmed for World of Warcraft: Forever, launching November 4, 2026. Blizzard announced it at BlizzCon on September 12, 2026, alongside Gnome Priest, Human Hunter, Dwarf Shaman, Orc Mage and Undead Paladin. It was never available in original Classic, where Horde warlocks were limited to Orcs and Undead.

Skyborne, the new elven race, cannot roll Warlock on either side — their list is Warrior, Hunter, Rogue and Druid, with Shaman for Horde Skyborne and Mage for Alliance Skyborne. Nothing else has been added to the warlock roster, and no new class was announced.

What are Troll racials in Forever?

Blizzard says every race in Forever gets two active and two passive racials, and it published revised kits for Dwarves, Undead, Tauren, Orcs, Gnomes and Skyborne. The Troll kit was not among the published changes as of September 13, so whether Berserking, Regeneration, Beast Slaying and Bow/Throwing Specialization survive in their Classic form is unknown. Treat any specific Troll racial numbers you see online as unconfirmed until Blizzard posts them.

One comparison that is confirmed: Undead lost the immunity part of Will of the Forsaken (it now removes Charm/Fear/Sleep but does not grant immunity), Cannibalize now restores Mana, and they gain Touch of the Grave, a life-drain proc. So the classic Undead Warlock is changing too — Troll is not competing against a frozen benchmark.

Is Troll Warlock better than Orc or Undead Warlock?

Not answerable yet. Blizzard has only published detailed class changes for Paladin; the Warlock rework (all classes and specs are being revamped, with talents moving away from small percentage fillers and a new 16-point milestone) has no public spell list. Without the Warlock kit and the Troll racial kit, any tier list is guesswork. Pick Troll if you want the look and the new combo; the numbers will come later.

Do Trolls get the Darkspear Islands battleground?

The Darkspear Islands is a new 15v15 battleground for everyone, styled like Eye of the Storm with Arathi Basin-style capture points — it is themed on the Darkspear tribe but not restricted to Trolls. It joins the original battlegrounds at launch, with PvP season refreshes on the roadmap for spring and summer 2027.

Does a Troll Warlock level differently in Forever?

Same 1–60 path as any Horde character, with new stops: the Riverglades (30–45, Eastern Kingdoms, 150+ quests, neutral goblin port), nine new dungeons including Ruins of Lordaeron (15–20, Horde) and the Drowned City, a troll ruin off Stranglethorn Vale. The Legacy system gives account-wide perks like extra rested XP and talent points from level 9, so an alt Troll Warlock levels faster if you have finished Legacy Challenges on another character.
