In WoW Midnight the weekly Conquest cap is a rolling ceiling, not a flat weekly amount: it opens at 1,350 Conquest in the first week of a season and rises by 550 every week after that. The cap is cumulative, so a skipped week is never lost, and Blizzard removes the cap entirely in the back half of the season. Your exact live number sits in the Currency tab of the character pane, shown as Conquest earned against the current ceiling.

How the Conquest ceiling grows week by week

Midnight keeps the rolling model Blizzard has used since Dragonflight. Season 2 follows the same formula, so the ceiling looks like this counting from the season's first reset:

Season weekTotal Conquest cap
Week 11,350
Week 21,900
Week 32,450
Week 43,000
Week 53,550
Each later week+550 until the cap is lifted
  • The ceiling is season-wide, not per week. It counts every point you have earned since the season began.
  • Conquest from any source counts against it: rated wins, weekly PvP quests, the Great Vault does not add Conquest but does drop gear.
  • Once you hit the ceiling, rated matches still award Honor and rating, just no Conquest until the next reset.
  • The reset happens with the weekly maintenance for your region (Wednesday in EU, Tuesday in NA).

Does the Conquest cap carry over if I miss a week?

Yes, and this is the part most players get wrong. Because the number is a running total for the season, a character created or parked in week five can farm the full week-five ceiling in one sitting. Nothing is forfeited by skipping resets; you simply have more room to fill when you come back.

The catch is time, not points. Filling a 3,000-plus ceiling from zero means a long queue session, which is why late starters tend to lean on weekly PvP quests for the bulk of it and top up with rated wins.

What is the fastest way to reach the cap each week?

Rated wins pay the most per match, and Solo Shuffle is the quickest queue for most specs, so a run of Shuffle rounds followed by a few 2v2 or 3v3 wins is the standard route. Rated Battleground Blitz is worth it if you queue as a healer, since queues pop fast.

Do not skip the weekly PvP quests offered at the season hub. They deliver a large lump of Conquest for a fixed number of wins and are the reason a casual player can still cap with only a couple of evenings a week.

When is the Conquest cap removed in Midnight?

Blizzard lifts the ceiling partway through the second half of a season, typically alongside a catch-up change so alts and returning players can gear straight to the top Conquest item level. After that point Conquest is limited only by how many matches you win. Until then, the rolling cap is the only pacing on PvP gear.

What do I spend Conquest on?

The Conquest vendor sells the top PvP gear track for the season, and the item level of those pieces scales with your current rating bracket. Rating unlocks matter more than raw points: the Elite appearance for your class set opens at 1,800 rating, so a capped character with low rating still ends up wearing the base look.

If you want a full set the week it becomes possible, aim to cap every single week from week one. Each reset you miss the ceiling on is one piece further from a complete set before the cap is lifted.

For players who would rather not grind the queue every reset, PewPewShop offers a Weekly Conquest Cap Carry for Midnight Season 2 from EUR 12.99 and a Conquest Points Farm for any amount up to 30,000 from EUR 7.5, both played by vetted human pros with a long zero-ban record.
