What each launch raid is

Barrow Deeps is the brand-new 10-player raid. It has three separate entrances, and one of them sits in Mount Hyjal; the other two have not been detailed publicly yet. A 10-player size means a single guild group or two pug parties can clear it without a 40-man roster.

Hyjal Summit is the 20-player raid and the centerpiece of Mount Hyjal, the new max-level zone added for Forever. Boss lists and loot tables have not been published, so anyone quoting exact drops right now is guessing.

Onyxia's Lair returns as a 40-player raid alongside the two new ones. Whether Molten Core, Blackwing Lair or the other original raids exist at launch is not something Blizzard has confirmed — only these three are on the December 9 roadmap.

Is Onyxia in WoW: Forever?

Yes. Onyxia's Lair is on the December 9 unlock list as a 40-player raid, opening at the same time as Barrow Deeps and Hyjal Summit. Attunement steps and any changes to the fight itself have not been published, so expect the reveal closer to the date.

Are there raids at WoW: Forever launch on November 4?

No. Launch content is three new zones, 1,000+ quests, nine new dungeons and the Skyborne race — raids arrive 35 days later. Your pre-raid checklist in that window: hit 60, run the high-level dungeons (The Shaper's Terrace and Krol'Dok Stronghold are the 40–60 ones), and work the new Mount Hyjal zone, which is where the raid entrances live.

3. Farm the 40–60 dungeons. No loot tables are public, but dungeon blues are the only gear tier before raids open.
